This is true. The Greek name for flea “Aptera” literally means “without wings”.
However Fleas in the pupae stage of development ( The stage between larva and adult ) do have little wing “buds” which they lose later on as they mature.
So in a way Scott’s take on fleas sort of fits if you think of them as children on their first ever Halloween.
Fleas trick or treating. I wonder if their idea of “treat” is a dog high on sugar (or one about to die of chocolate poisoning).
Seeing the word “holiday” used to replace Christmas now used for halloween seems a bit odd, perhaps I’m just not used to it.
