Fantasy Flight has announced two expansions to the World of Warcraft: The Board Game. The first, “Shattered Kingdom”, is due in July and features hundreds of new cards, both expanding the original game and introducing a few new concepts. A new item deck rewards characters with exciting trinkets and artifacts. A new quest deck puts a bounty on independent creatures, rewarding characters who defeat them. Each class deck also receives 10 new powers and 10 new talents, further developing each character’s arsenal of unique abilities and customizability. Each Overlord also receives special cards that are shuffled into the event deck, and these cards make them even more dangerous throughout the game.
While in November, WOW: The Board Game gets its first full-sized expansion, with new Overlords, new characters, events, and quests – including dungeon quests which characters must battle through several cards to complete.
Cathode Tan pointed us to a YouTube snippet of Gold Farmers in Gamedom, a documentary being put together by Ge Jin, a UCSD Ph.D student on gold farmers. This is a work in progress and Ge Jin is looking for more suggestions on ways to improve the documentary. Check out this guy going crazy-murloc-crap for reaching level 60 in WOW. Lay off the sugar!!!
2. Rumors & Scuttlebutt:Oh noes, not again… Could Pandas be the upcoming Alliance Race? Blizzard is pleased to announce the latest addition to the Warcraft III universe: the mighty Pandaren Empire. The pandaren, driven from their tranquil lands by the marauding centaurs, fight ceaselessly to find a new homeland amongst the warring civilizations of southern Kalimdor. Seeing as we had all that talk about the Ashbringer Sword on our last show. We thought we would point you to a video that shows it in the hands of a GM. Feel the throbbing power of a GM. WOW player was banned for using Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard. A WOW player was allegedly banned for using Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard. The keyboard allows you to program macros that can make playing the game easier. I personally think he was doing MORE then just using a keyboard, otherwise Logitech would get involved in this. Finally, we got some INSIDER info on the WOW Expansion pack. Hopefully, I won’t get in trouble for this, but I know a guy who knows a guy with Blizzard and he has some info I would like to share with you. Most recently I heard that the Expansion for WOW was coming out during the summer. What I hear from my friend is that it is likely to be pushed back till after summer and into the end of November, 26th or 27th around Thanksgiving.

4. Drop of the Week: Russell sends us another cool Hunter tip for taming critters. I know its a little late but I wanted to let you know how I tame elite mobs. I have a Mage polymorph the critter to be tamed and tame away, you will be able to completely tame it without taking any damage. Gere has written and sent us an amazing guide on making money for you Mount, and it does not involve Chinese players either. Mark Ramirez from Screaming Bee has released a new voice tool that is changing the way people play games and chat online.
Our product, MorphVOX, is rapidly gaining popularity with gamers who want to enhance their online role-playing. Think of the possibilities: gamers can now change their voice to sound like a troll, giant, dwarf or dark lord. They’ve spent many hours grooming their online character to look a certain way, why not change their voice to match. It’s also a cool thing for the men gamers who want to sound like the women characters they play, or women gamers who want to sound like one of the boys.
5. Town Cryer: We want to thank all the WOW fans for the STUNNING influx on emails we are receiving. Got some Guild/Realm info? Have a questions/info/tips for us then send them in by emailing at… theinstance@gmail.com
