@ Obscure Chris: I agree. I believe that the statistic refers to those who complete the full program. You can’t argue with results. That being said, these people “need a movie” – they might have better luck with Sharon & Fred!
Pastor David Wilkerson is the founder of the church i go to in NY. and he is still involved in helping children and teens get off the streets and off drugs. so i really do not see the humor in that. sorry guys. not lauging

The 20 year-old film definitely looked dated, and the host’s ‘walk-and-talk’ shots are lame, and the ‘sport-coat-sleeves-rolled-up-Miami-Vice-wanna-be’ always looked terrible (except for when I wore them), and “The Jesus Factor” was overt and very cliche… but I will not argue with what works.

PS. For those of you who use this to further cement your hatred for religion, it would help you to realize that there are fools in all walks of life, religious or not. If one group of religious fools is condemnation for all religion, then one group of secular fools should just as easily be considered condemnation for all of the non-religious… or so says your logic. Give it a rest.
This video was definitely a terrible video, quite funny. Teen Challenge is actually christian drug rehab group who claims to have quite good results. Although I really don’t think all the kids on the play ground will be doing crack before they’re 13…

I like the shot that they used for “yuppies” and “hippies.” Nothing says yuppy like a pair of black guys in suites and hippies like a redneck mullet.
