Spock is a one-trick man. Nerve pinch is all he’s got. Batman has all the moves you’d ever need. Once he realizes that Spock’s got nothin’ – it’s over. Sp0ck = pwn3d with a capital P!
Batman. The man has spent years training in combat in the way that only a true obsessive compulsive can. Remember, Christian Bale made a great movie Bats, but even he’s nothing compared to the real thing. And if that didn’t work, all his crazy issues from having his parents (and one of his sidekicks) murdered, plus the simple toll of dealing with the kinds of people he has to on a frequent basis…he’d break Spock’s puny little logical mind.
Plus, you have to figure in the fact that it’s Batman from the Hush storyline…that’s Jim Lee Bats. Any character’s badass levels rise by x1000 just from being drawn by Jim Lee. It’s almost like going Super Saiyan, minus the half hour of grunting and terrible character exposition.

Vulcans are three stronger then humans, so it stands to reason that a Vulcan would just pick up Batman and break his spine, or so I thought. Spock, being half human is to weak for that, he would take the wussy route and try the never pinch, which wouldn’t work because of Batman’s massively thick armor. This soon to be fatal error would bring him close enough for Batman to rip out his neck and spew his green blood with his forearm blade thingies. I guess Batman would win.

If Batman can use his arsenal of toys then its game over in fairly short order as well.
Batman. He’s wearing a breathing aperatus (isn’t he?), and if Spock is involved, it could be assumed they’re fighting in space or on a space ship. Eventually the fight would lead them to an airlock of sorts, as that’s required in Science Fiction movies. Then, without fail, their enraged tussle, their barbaric brawl, would smash the console with the button on it that opens the airlock door, sending them both spiraling into space…. where Batman would live just long enough to summon his BatShip with his utility belt control.
Now if was just regular Batman…. that’s a whole different story.

UGH! Even for me a tough call because I love both characters. But of course in the end, I must go with Spock. Don’t forget, Spock has telepathic abilities as well. He just has to influence Batman’s thoughts enough to convince him he isn’t nearby. Then Spock slips in, nerve pinch and it’s all over. Beam us up!
I am going to have to say Batman here is the reason why… Even if he loses the first round he will eventually win… Do not make me pull the Batman has defeated Superman twice card.
Batman can beat Superman, how the heck can he lose from Spock ?
Spock is too goody goody even with all his logic.
The only weapon Spock would have is his Bilbo Baggins song. Unfortunately, Batman liked that song.
The reason Superman can be beat – (by anyone) is he has a HUGE achilles heal => Kryptonite.
Kryptonite+Arogant/Overconfident+Stupid-as-freakin-hell+Doesn’t pay one lick of attention=I, an 18 year old Otaku/Trekkie/Warsie could kick his freakin ass. I’ll restate…Nimoy takes no prisoners. I love Batsy, don’t get me wrong, but he couldn’t stand up to 150% human strength, mind powers, and the Vulcan Nerve Pinch.
I have doubts about whether the two would fight in the first place. Who started the fight, and for what reason?
Batman, but only because he has better long range attacks and he is better handling the terrain. In hand to hand combat Spock should be a pretty good adversary for him…
And what about Batman’s detective skills vs. Spock logical mind to solve a crime? This is hard…
I have to repeat – they are both gaylords and would make out rather than fight.
Spock would lose, but knowing this he would have already set his starship to self destruct. And not a computer programmed self-destruct, Spock would do some modifications on the core itself and allow himself to be radioactively poisoned in the process. He would also find a way to rig the starship to go into warp as soon as Batman boards.
If Batman decides to still duel with Spock, he would also anticipate this move and realize that his “bat-spaceship” is not warp ready, so there is no escape. That being said, after Bats boards the starship and kills Spock by the starship’s reactor core, he(bats) will just sit down and wait for death as the starship flies at warpspeed and eventually turns to space dust. kaboom.
And even if by some weird fluke Bats manages to escape. Spock’s consciousness, that was sneakily transfired into Batman’s mind would somehow find a way to be transfered into a clone body thereby allowing a round 2. (P.S. batman, being honor bound would wait until Spock recovers before the next fight.)
In round two both fighters would just shoot each other’s own heads off with their respective weapons: Spock with his phaser to his temple, and batman with his grappling gun to his ear. This way they would save each other the trouble and expense since by now they both know what the other is thinking anyway.

are you kidding spock would get his butt kicked he would be down in like 5 mins batman knows almost every martial art on earth he is one of the smartest people on earth ( i mean jez he killed superman in frank millers dark night) so i think that spock albeit smart he would prolley be tied up faster than you can say battarang and he prolley get one in his cornhole a battarang that is
I’d have to batman, this is only based on the fact that IGN comics had a Battle Royal of Super heroes and by some miracle Batman came out on top. Defeating the likes of Thor, The Hulk, The Phoenix and Silver Surfer. Not to mention the other 60 heroes thrown into the pit. IGN was so surprised with the results, that it gave way to a new column “Use your Delusion” which basically is Batman vs. whatever you can think of and how he would win.
Spock is amazing but Batman wins due to the popular vote =(

You forgot Jack Bauer. he’ll interogate spock and break him, then then he will do…..something to batman.
