Holy cow! While still keeping the accolades over Kim’s incredible work throughout the event, I must extend said accolades to Rachel. Those cakes were fantastic, and she deserves all the kudos.

And shame on Kim for taking the credit. She told me how much work those cakes were to make, and even detailed the whole process. I knew something was fishy when she claimed the fondant frosting was made from tribbles. Hmmmph.

while i do agree with the sentiments of scott and all, i do need to point out to you that, while kim is enormously talented and she and scott make an awesome team, it was my wife, Rachel Hughes, who made the cakes. i just gotta point that out, not in a malicious way, but the process to make those things got powdered sugar ALL over my kitchen (i’m still trying to clean it all up). she also made the cakes for nerdtacular ’08, and has a blast doing it. i know she’d want it cleared up.

so much fun this year, and thanks to everyone who helped make nerdtacular what it was, is, and will be. looking forward to many more!
