Every now and again I get a wild hair and I go crazy with something obsessively for weeks on end. Sometimes it’s music, sometimes it’s classic TV, sometimes it’s movies. I did a back to back marathon of every Dick Van Dyke show ever made last week. A couple months ago, I watched nearly every documentary Netflix streams.
Well, this week it’s typical RTS games. I reloaded Starcraft, Warcraft III, Age of Mythology, Age of Empires III, Rise of Nations, and Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, and played a bit of each. Yeah, probably crazy.

SQL and Food. (SQL = Single Quake Live)

Mangas and Anime.
Im obsessed with food network right now. food is pretty amazing.
Reading, old kung fu films, comics and lots of them.
Since I’m out of school, and feel the need to socialize, I have been going on facebook a lot more. I’m also building a new computer, and redoing my bedroom, so I’m focusing a lot on finishing those. I used to play WOW, and that was pretty time consuming.
I have multiple obsessions. Not going to post all, but some.
Cosplaying.
World of Warcraft (yes, I admit it).
Cons.
Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. I could watch reruns of all their seasons forever.
AOE II & III would consume me for hours if not days if I started playing them again.
If I watch a season opening episode of a show I’ve never seen before, I’m sucked into watching the whole season. I don’t know what it is but I have to watch every episode.
Lately I’ve been revisiting my childhood by picking up Pokemon on DS. I forgot how completely awesome, complex, and addictive those games are, and they’ve added so much to it over the years. And for all of you who think its a kiddy game, shut up and go play Sally’s Spa!
Its really random, for example during christmas I had never watched the office before, and I just decided to start with season one and see if I’d like it. Ended up watching every season and buying the fifth season on itunes so I could get caught up. I did it all in the span of like a week or some short amount of time. Its crazy.
I know exactly what you mean though, I go non stop on some obsession then I just stop it all together when I find a new one.
Don’t make fun, but I got ahold of some old Pokemon games recently. There’s a strange stigma around those games, for some reason, but I’ve always enjoyed them. The first one came out when I was in the 6th or 7th grade, and it was just fun.
Same with squiggie! Walmart has Stargate SG1 for 15 bucks a season and I’ve been consuming it mad style.
Well I’ve been addicted to age of mythology and cod4 for awhile now, and I play WoW so that’s eating up my life
I’ve been obsessed with reading all the Anita Blake books. I’m on book 12 right now. I don’t think it’s even been a month yet since I started tearing through them.
They just released all 10 seasons of SG1 on dvd for like $100…must resist the urge!
My current obsession is putting a camera on a kite. I’ve done it before, but it’s been a couple years.

I spent most of yesterday getting the Flame Warden title on my level 55 mage.
Visiting fires in Outlands at 55? Ponder it a while.
Procrastination, I have to finish a paper until next week, only 20 more pages to write.
But instead I am surfing around, update the feed reader look on reddit, commenting here, it is terrible…

I’ve really been loving comic books. I collected comics as a kid from about ’89-’94, but for whatever reason, I never really read them. This time around I’ve really been loving reading them and actually knowing my favorite artists and writers. Some of my current favorites are Cable, Deadpool, Batman (any of the books), any of the Soliel books that Marvel is putting out, and Guardians of the Galaxy. On the other hand, I’m getting pretty tired of the Dark Rein stuff. Hopefully the Captain America Reborn story line will over throw Norman Osborn.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. I’m not a big fighter game fan, but I can’t stop playing this one.
Been doing a lot of console gaming, also a LOT of reading. Mostly Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels.
Burn Notice, Psych s4 stars Aug.7, WOW( just xfered to Staghelm to join Stompalina’s new guild), Food network, Podcasts(ELR,the Instance plus some others), My Wife, other stuff im sure, but that all I got for right now
Just yesterday I watched all four X-Men movies and all three Spider-man movies
) And few years back I got nostalgic and downloaded and played all parts of Commander Keen Adventures.
I am obsessed with Rock Band 2 at the momment. Only because I let my WOW expire till September.

Given how there are little itty bitty cousins visiting for the weekend, I’ve recently picked up Wii Sports again. I’m making sure those little tykes don’t outbowl me.

My current on-going obsession for the past year is the harmonica. Learning to play it, working on them, and modifying them.
As of late I have been a podcast junkie. I have 7 that I currently subscribe to 3 of which are updated daily. The rest are weekly. 3 of those weekly ones are yours. In fact I’m about to listen to ELR in just a minute here.
It’s summer in Texas, which means BBQ time on my big green egg.
I just got my 75th (and 76th) non-combat pets on WoW.
Lots of summer reading going on, too (John Hodgman ftw).
I collect playing cards and am always watching The West Wing (once I finish I start over). Also I don’t use the volume for video games, I listen to SW audiobooks simultaneously while I play. Not so much a wild hair as weird habits but I enjoy them.
I am obsessed with Reggae recently dont know why but I can’t get enough of it.
Warcraft – PVPing for the first time. I suck, but I cannot stop…

about a months ago it was Dexter. Then afew weeks ago it was Heroes. Then two weeks ago (for about 3 days) daring. And the second half of that week was watching episodes of Death Note. And last week it was baking. This week, watching bleach and finding cosplays for a con on next year :p

Well, my birthday is coming up in about a week, so I guess my current obsession is age. Birthdays are fun until you hit your mid-30′s, after which they become month-long OCD episodes about where you are versus where you hoped you’d be.
Also currently obsessed with Patapon 2 on PSP.
Space above and beyond – always liked that show and Now I purchased the whole series on DVD!

If I had access to the entire West Wing series, I would watch it over again. Same thing goes for the ST:TNG. DS9, and Voyager seasons.
