Ok…that’s just plain WRONG!
Give us the real G-Force, dammit!
so……….i guess this must be an original IP, but why call it G-Force (Guinea-Force?????)
Wtf is G-Force?
[ edited because it was spam. tasty, tasty spam. ]
Don’t worry there is a movie in the making it’s called gatachaman… and it won’t suck.
See: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0818257/
it’S made by the same studio that gave us TMNT in 2007 and will give us Astroboy.
here’s what it looks like: http://www.collider.com/uploads/imageGallery/Gatchaman_Movie/gatchaman_movie_poster_onesheet_collider.com.jpg
or go to the official site (take a long time to load) http://www.imagi.com.hk/web/main.php
I don’t even know what that is…
…
……
……….
………….
A spin off of Indiana Jones no doubt. Yes, the CGI Gophers were so amazing in THAT one, that they just had to have their own movie.
for the love of god don’t these idiots even do a google search to make sure their movie’s name won’t be associated with some previous IP?
Was it ever said to be a film adaption of Battle of the Planets?
Skipping this entirely. I don’t like CGI Guinea Pigs and I certainely don’t like Micheal Baysplosions.
Seriously, here’s a director that makes his living off a CGI and not good camera work. >:|
G-Force… Guinea-Force is probably something kids would have to learn to spell. Which I see as a GOOD thing. Make them kids learn new words when they wanna go see cute, fuzzy CGI creatures at the movies.
I think the real G-Force(Gatchaman) movie won’t be as awesome as people hope. It’ll be like the “Thunderbirds” or “Zoom”… Trying to appeal to your inner child, but doesn’t make a huge improvement on your mental image of it all. Unless they do something radical, like shoot it in an epic quality like the Comic-book movies have done lately.
At least one of the Gatchaman Team, leader Ken, will be appearing in glorious 3D-punch-in-the-pace-o-vision in the upcoming Tatsunoko vs Capcom game. I think the female team member is in it as well, but not sure. Although it has just about everything else in it, the game is believed to be 100% free of both guinea pigs and Jerry Bruckheimer
..er, that was meant to be ‘face’, of course… it’s late.
Reminds me of SCTV’s Ronco Wiener Skinner circa 1978.
Oops. I wish we could delete posts. Wrong thread!
While G-Force was not a part of my childhood (I think it was around, but I just don’t recall ever watching it), I can totally understand the brain-slam when faced with guinea pigs versus teenagers in odd outfits protecting the galaxy. It’s as disappointing as expecting pornographic innuendo when they’re really talking about cats and roosters (yet, even that’s still funny).
did anyone notice someone posted to scott in the comments on that page lol…clever…
Im not sure what to ‘Beleive’…..spell check.
Rat Bastards!!!!!!!!
Awww…. They are so cute!! With their big eyes and their fur and their itty bitty headsets. I wonder if they have tiny little lazers, how cute would that be?!
I hope there’s a lawsuit or something: that’s just plain misleading.
One of my co-workers is from Peru, so my first thought ran along the lines of “Cuy-Force!”
http://www.pilotguides.com/destination_guide/south_america/ecuador_and_the_galapagos_islands/guinea_pig.php
If they parachute into Lima and get chased by kids with forks, hell yeah I’d rent it.
As for Japanese things to put on the big screen, we need Inazuman!
OK…so it’s not going to be dark and serious. It is going to be campy like Speed Racer. But then again if you watch the series it is campy. I mean the villian is revealed in the last show (was it the last show) that he might actually be a she. How much more camp can you be than that. So don’t poo-poo the movie based on one computer generated set of geuine pigs. I’m going to wait for the previews before I make a real judgement call as to see it or not. Being 43 I am learning to go see the goofy ones and really enjoy them. Examples of my taste of stuff I liked and others didn’t, Mystery Men, Godzilla with Mathew Broderick, Lost in Space the movie.
