Hmmm…not sure how I feel about this one.
CHUD is reporting that Charlie’s Angels director McG is in talks to helm Terminator 4. The best thing that can be said about this news is: at least it isn’t Brett Ratner. Escape From New York fans weren’t lucky enough to dodge that bullet.

I think I’m going to stay away from this one. T3 was ok, but I think I’m done with the series.
Well, there goes the franchise. Ah, McG. How Awesome? Superslowmo explosions with a 360 camera view, Awesome use of 10 year old “Bullet Time” technique and Vin Diesel’s great acting abuilities…..how awesome will the Apocalypse be?
*Note, I used the word Awesome, because that is the word douches like McG use to describe his work and or directing technique, also, I assume the Movie Executive said to the producer/writer, “Make it Awesome”

I agree that Vin should be making another sequel to his series (it’s supposed to be a trilogy anyway). Heck, just have him do the sequels as games cuz Butcher Bay was unexpectedly awesome, he didn’t found the Tygon game studio for nothing.
T4… Never really cared for 3 so who knows, this one might actually be cool. If it isn’t, it’s not like the franchise wasn’t already spiraling down. I’ll reserve judgment till I see a trailer.

I’d like to see them destroy XXX 2 and redo it with Vin like they should have done in the first place.
Anyway, enough Terminator all ready. There are so many great SiFi stories to exploit, why oh why do they keep feeding us the same leftovers? They only reheat once, maybe twice but thats it!
They should redo Saving Private Ryan… Hehe mine is an evil laugh…

While I dont know about the director, had hoped for better.
I dont mind Vin Diesel. I dont really know why people are so pissed of about him. I allways thought him a highlight even in mediocre movies.
Also ‘Escape from Butcher Bay’ was a fantastic game! Vin has alot more integrity and style than the other hollywood actionheads.

I agree with Scott in regards to Brett Ratner. Everything he touches turns it from what it was and should be, and comes out as pure crap.
I refuse to watch a Terminator with out Arnold. I am a huge fan of the series(will not watch the Sarah Conner’s show though.)
The Sarah Conner’s Chronicles isn’t too bad. I downloaded it a while back -It’s better than Bionicwoman!

I think Vin Diesel should be the Terminator, go to California to find Sarah Connor working for the Governor of California. Then when Termintor Riddick goes to kill Sarah, the Governor rips off his flesh face mask and Diesel and Arnold go at it in Sacramento in the Governor’s office.
