That’s about all the cliches that I mainly hate to hate. In years to come, maybe gaming will slowly remove these cancerous annoyances once and for all, but I’m very sure they’ll be here for a long, long time.
Hilarius! A fine read

Oh Noes! Bouncing MOOBS!
Meh, I personally don’t agree with most of the stuff the guy said. I mean hell, what does the guy want? a video game of real life? real life sucks entertainment wise (usually), that’s why there are video games.
Man, he’s ticked.
Yup, VG’s are totally unrealistic. It’s better to earn the gold for the sword , so clean the toilets for 3 weeks, get a little loan at the local bank and make the first downpayment on the sword.
Cool, but he missed the one about any routine mission of any sort turning into some sort of major, hisory making even within half an hour of it’s start.
Not that I care, of course. If I wanted realism, I’d leave my house. But I don’t, so I won’t.
I’m not 100% sure if he is joking or not, but as stated in previous comments, changing those things would take the fun out of playing the game. If I play a game, I want to play a super-human, not a normal person.
It might be more realistic if you were just given your equipment on a silver platter since you are “saving the world”, but having to work to get successively better equipment is all part of the fun.
I’m going to sound a little defensive here, but the reason that monsters in earlier games just had a color change was because you really could not fit a whole lot of stuff into the games back then, and I’m guessing doing a color change on the fly was a lot easier then trying to stuff entirely new graphics into that limited space.
Anyways, I’m obviously preaching to the choir here, so I’ll end the rant there.

So his perfect game would be one where you don’t buy equipment and enemies don’t drop items other than those they themselves would be using, there is no way to heal, save or continue, you only have 1 life, and the super-powerful enemy came and smashed away that one life right at the start of the game?
Gee, sounds like fun =P
