It begins. I have been itching for the year to end so I could start this. I will post one sketch per day this new year, 365 sketches total in 2008. Might be fun! No themes, no rules…just one sketch per day for one full year. You can get the RSS link here. See you tomorrow.

Very cool Scott. Looking forward to it.
There is a playwrite by the name of Susan-Lori Parks who did this with plays (ranging from a minute and thirty seconds of frantic action to five minutes of insight into our society) and now there is a yearly nation-wide festival-type thing where different organizations get the rights to a weeks worth of the plays. Hendrix did a week of them and I was in a few, quite awesometastic it was…perhaps your new thing will have such prosperity, I do hope so. Best to you and yours for 2008! YEE-HAW!
Was this drawn with your cintiq, Scott?
Happy New Year! This is going to be awesome, did you get this idea from O?
@johathan- No sir…has not yet arrived, however, I can promise you those will come as soon as I get it.
Thanks for the year long present
Really cool, but isn’t 2008 a leap year? so its going to be 366, right?
this’ll be cool to see!
Thanks for this, Scott. Even more content from a website that already gives us so much!
Good. Luck.
Travis is right, it *is* a leap year. I know this due to the outrageous political campaigning I’m seeing round here.
Will stick figures come mid-July really count as sketches?
Just kidding of course. Cool idea and good luck with it.
Draw a giant Godzilla-like monster eating stick figures.
*dreams of an Extralife comic a day calendar*
Nice idea Scott! Check it out… I started Blog 365…. One full year of daily blog posts!
Blog365.ning.com
Good Luck!
@gene I would so buy that! I second the extralife page a day calendar. I miss my farside
Will they all be posted here on the blag, in its own website, or just in the RSS?
Here, the blog, and the RSS…all three.
Very ambitious goal there.
To be honest, go back to the pencil and paper for this project. Don’t abandon those tools completely if you’re looking to really improve your skills.
You’re a madman!
Good Luck you will need it
365 sketches? So, I assume you’re taking February 29th off? lol
@Catface – I don’t have it yet…this is pencil and paper, and it will continue to be. These sketches will have nothing to do with the Cintiq.
