The launch of the official COD4 PC server is now…official. 
You can now get your groove on with fellow EL’ers in your favorite Modern Combat simulator.
Here are the details:
Server Address: 67.201.15.54:28960
Server Name: Extralife’s COD4 Server

Cool, I really like all the Offical ELR servers. I think it is a great idea and hope to see more in the future.

erm… Says that the server is verson 1.0 . My version is 1.5.549 please can the server be updated to the latest patch?

The server is 1.0, you need to update it to 1.5 scott.

i just got CoD4 and am currently playing the SP campaign to get the feel for the game. I’ll check in just as soon as I can for some fragtastic goodness.

how does one do a direct connect? i can’t find anywhere in the MP interface where it shows the IP address and I can’t see Extra Life’s COD4 Server in the server list.

managed to get my game patched, but i can’t find the server.
any hints?
Dane all u have to do is go into the main menu screen before you enter the game and press the button below ESC on the keyboard and the console should appear…
if you type into the console: connect 67.201.15.54:28960
you should connect directly with the server.

Hey, I went out and bought this game with my birthday money… I can’t seem to figure out how to get into the server though, I put the IP address in as a new favorite but it doesn’t show up on my favorites list……….
Ok, the noob in the room read the above posts and now just needs to figure out how to update the game.

ok so i just bought this game yesterday of steam and yes i am on a pc. And i have been having a blast with tf2 and cs.s but know when i play cod4 it wont let me play any games or it wont find any servers so i could pl;ay in and also i have try game trackers.com and when i try getting into their servers itll say awaiting connection…1..2…3..4 and so on intill to ..11 and then it says ERROR: server connection timed out also i will sometimes hit refresh and itll say on the top left of the screen : getting info for 17790 server but nothing happens after that plz help i would love to play this game online it looks sick and i have played it on my xbx and it was a blast hopefully you can help me out buy tell me wut i have to do to fix this problem can anyone help???
Matt, did you update it to version 1.5?
Google it up, you’ll need the 1.4 patch, and then the 1.4-1.5 patch. Not sure if that’s what’s causing the problem, but it’s a start.
Uh, I just logged into the game and to my surprise there were two other people in the server! Much to my dismay however, as soon as I joined the server I was banned…. What gives?
If I’m not mistaken, you have to have punkbuster on.
Thanks darth yoda, I tried that and the input box appeared to left. I ctrl v the ip of the server. Press enter. The ip is wiped? What aren’t I getting here =/?
