Well, Prey managed to come out. Add this to my list along with Shenmue III… After seeing that though, being a marine could possibly be even cooler than a ghost.
Chills down my spine.. they should’ve made a starcraft movie instead of a warcraft one
The Starcraft storyline/lore is way much more interesting than the warcraft one.
Zerg > Scourge
Terran > Humans
Protoss > Night Elves

The actual gameplay trailers of ghost looked rubbish though. Good call in cancelling it tbh.

yeah i have to say…this is about 90% of what warhammer 40 k is like…i mean the bugs practially are tyranids and the marines are blood angles.
Dont forget about the siege Macragge and Marneus Augustus Calgar’s Victory over the Tyranids.

Starcraft Ghost should still be made.. starcraft is a hell of a game, it deserves a sequal
onimusha is that impressive as some of the other trailers out there.
Also the reason they dont make alot of these videos is simply because of money. You need alot of time expertesse and fancy and expensive software and computers to make them. also seein they dont actually affect the game play, companys see them as unnessesary in games or intros
This was supposed to be a post Xbox launch game back in 2003ish. I’m glad they decided to give up production on the game, though because the actual gameplay footage of the game was junk and looked horrible. They should just make a movie.

I totally agree that Starcraft deserves a sequel. They should do something based on the Ghost idea, but with better gameplay.
I thought they pulled the plug on starcraft ghost anyway I LOVE THE GRAPHICS!!
Blizzard should seriously just make some CGI movies. They’d rival Pixar.
it seems that unless a CGI movie is a comedy or for children it doesnt do to great, so i think it likly hat Blizzard should give up doin games movies
Great finally I see this again.To my thought i think Starcraft:Ghost was cancelled because when people played it at blizzcon and saw the gameplay trailer they probrally didn’t like it much so Blizzard cancelled it.

Problem is most CGI movie that should have a more mature story gets the “lets make it appealing to kids” treatment by the major studios. A starcraft movie will make a lot of money if they keep it mature enough. Hell, even if it tanks in the US they’ll make more than enough money in Korea alone.
Advent Children was CGI, not made for kids(at least I didnt think so) and kicked ass.
But Spirits Within did suck pretty bad.
As someone who is not a fan of Final Fantasy, I liked Spirits Within better. Advent Children had a couple of cool looking fight scenes but overall was very strange.
it’s funny how they make it seem as if marines and zerglings had mattered all that much. Imagine trying to raid a _probably_ abandoned Zerg base with only a few dozen marines, a marine hero and one fire marine in Starcraft

heh, on the comments for that video one person posted this “if they make a movie, it better be Grafics, not real people, like the cut-scenes in Brood War” just…graphics…lol
