per the question above, it’s a comedy bit from two Australian comedians/political satirists: John Clarke and Bryan Dawe.

I saw and heard John Cleese the whole time, almost didn’t belive it wasn’t him in costume. Think actually Monty phython did a skits very like this one back in the years

I’m an Aussie, i didn’t see this when it was on TV but i think i might have to start watching the 7:30 report if they do this sort of thing at the end, it’s bloody hilarious!

They were on 60 <inutes once where the bald guy was portraying a scientist who discovered where missing socks went when they went missing in the washing machine =p
