I usually like Rotten Tomatoes but man.. The Hulk being 32th out of 94 is just not right. There are far better comic related movies then The Hulk, Spider Man 3 is ranked BELOW The Hulk, as is 300.
I also liked the inclusion of some big name anime titles in the list. If they were stand alone in a list of anime they’d go in the order that they were put in… with possibly the exception of Appleseed.
the list ( i think ) is based on the RT scores and averages. So they might even jump places in theory.
any countsown that puts 300 in the 34 spot, is depply flawed
i mean, the hulk is above 300!! i mean WTF??
yeah, the ranking seems very off. Daredevil would have been WAY lower. Oh well, never really liked other people’s opinons as much as my own anyway
Wow, right off the bat I see Elektra is worse than Corman’s F4. Not that I know IF Corman’s F4 is on the list.
So initially, FTL.
I can not agree with this ranking at ALL. Seriously, it said some extrememly stupid things about some of my favorite movies. Not to mention half of that list is just so much crap. I mean the put V for Vendetta and 300 lower then Superman Returns. SUPERMAN RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!! That movie had one plot twist. ITS HIS SON! Wow what a junk movie and still it is just crap. God, I will not agree with this list, because it is so riddled with old guy reviewers like Ebert and Ebert’s slave. Sorry but no.
WHO THE HELL WROTE THIS THING! I agree by al;l means, aliens vs predator wasnt a specatacular insight into human intuistion and nature between man and extraterrestrial, but how the HELL did the crappy lame superman movie beat it?! or ANY oof the NINJA TURTLES MOVIES?!..okay 3 sucked..
Ya know, I got so fed up with what seemed like haphazard rankings, that I quit somewhere in the middle. Did the Avenger or Iron Man cartoons even make that list? Iron Man was luke warm at best, but the Avenger movies were pretty cool.
Personally, I’m waiting for a Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers movie.
ahh yes. flash gordon. busting into the top 25. sometimes the universe works in ways i understand.
yeah i definitely don’t agree with this list…. Rotten Tomatoes to me always seemed to cater towards the Prentious kind of person for whom almost nothing is good enough for and whom takes great delight in tearing down others.

94 movies @ 1 movie per page?
I’m not about to let my clicking finger get that sore (is there a full list on one page somewhere?), but I did skip to the number 1 movie, and I have to say I am flabbergasted.
Spider-man 2 had a decent start, an okay finish, but most noticeable of all, one of the most boring middles in the history of superhero movies. Seriously, the guy’s walking around without his powers for about an hour – and the reason for it is the lamest ever – he’s lost his confidence…
Sorry, but Spider-man 2 was mediocre at best.
I love how they said they didn’t like a movie becuase they didn’t have the mental capacity to follow it.
I didn’t even recognize the 3rd or 2nd movie they listed…maybe it’s my young age, or maybe it’s the fact that this list is, as others have said, extremely flawed.
I mean, 300 was perhaps the best movie I’ve ever seen and Spiderman 3 was amazing.

horrible, horrible list for so many reasons (mentioned and unmentioned). Horrible presentation as well, 94 one pagers that tell you nothing about the movie and nothing about why it is where it is on the list. Oh and if you look at the first page they tell you how they got the rankings (and they make it sound all mathematical too) and shows how they got such a crap list.
Any such list is subjective, but I disagree with this one pretty heavily.
Didn’t the Adams Family franchise start from the black and white tv series? That was one of several where I though “I know that started on the screen not in comics.” But I could be mistaken.
How can they rationalise saying one of them wasn’t as good as Matrix as why it was high on the list (I forget which movie).
I didn’t go through whole list, but Hulk and Spiderman 3 should be way lower. Yes, I think that Spiderman 3 was VERY disappointing.
The write-off just sucked major balls IMO. How could anyone NOT suspect that American Splendor is a comic-book-movie Oo

I have never been to that site.. rotten tomatos or what ever it was… i gotto say.. that was one of the most enoying stes i have ever seen.
I don’t think whomever wrote this really saw the movies he rated. Electra was worse than Cat woman? While not a great movie, still… worse than CATWOMAN?!?!
