Would have been a better top 100 list if maybe they explained why some stuff was on there instead of just a straight 1-100 listing.

I don’t think Jar Jar is on the list because some dude decided it. It says that it’s based on the number of database views. Which means *gasp* there are more people wanting to know more about Jar Jar than X-Wings. Oh my.
If they called it 100 most popular sure I’d be more able to buy it… but 100 greatest? C’mon, Han Solo at 27…losing credibility… Millenium Falcon 47… credibility gone.
Not sure its best to worst…meaning 1 is best and 100 is least best. But I could be wrong.

Being a Wiki site I understand each item listed has it’s own article, chalk full of info. What I mean is a reason as to why they think it belongs in the top 100 greatest things, not just here’s info on it. Something akin to “The Jedi Order is #1 cause, well, without that, there is no Jedi”.
Recant what I said, after reading the site, it’s the top 100 viewed items. Curse you slashdot article habits.
