Not to mention General Hammond on there too.

Never watched Stargate SG-1 so to me –

Teal’C looks like the hip new name for the channel TLC.

If teacher threw a kid over his shoulder now, he would be fired and sued back to the stone age.

  3. Lindsay

    Well, it’s a good thing MacGyver’s not a teacher

  4. Jotunheim

If you sued Macgyver, he’d build a world class lawyer from three toothpicks and an empty coke-can.

Yeah I saw that one, it was interesting to see him on it. Don Davis used to be MacGuyvers Boss Camera double and played a villian himself as well

Its wierd when that cross pollination of actors and locations pop up. Like Seeing all the BSG actors on SG1 etc. (Gaita, Sharon\Athena, etc)
or seeing the the smallville hospital exterior double as a lab in the Michael Shanks movie Swarm.

Missing SG-1 and Atlantis these days. Heard there is going to be a Macguyver movie…not sure what that will be like. For me, a modern (and better) variation of Macguvyer is Burn Notice, which interestingly enough has actors from SG-1 and BSG being pulled over….

Not surprising, really. Just like in anything else, you work with people you know. I’m sure that when Judge turned in his resume and did his screentest for Stargate, he mentioned his time on MacGuyver.

Also note that in Episode 1 season 1 of SG-1, the major (I forget her name off hand) mentions macguyvering as a verb.

@Chris & Cantonkid – Stargate SG-1 episodes are on Hulu.com if that website is available in your region. I think they block some content to non-US residents by IP, which of course you can get around if you can use an American IP anon relay.

@Cantonkid: Do you live in Guangzhou, or come from there? My wife is from there, with many relatives in Shenzen and also up by Shaoguan. I’ve been there a few times on holiday.

This is from Season 5, Episode 13 “Live and Learn” for those who have the MacGyver DVDs.

@Mercator – Live and work in Hong Kong (originally from US, Florida), but go to Shenzhen often and other parts of China when I have time. I travel back to the US about twice a year. A person can actually get ahold of nearly any TV series in Shenzhen (pirated of course), but I prefer to access stuff online to try and stay current. I can get stuff on iTunes with my US account and have some IP blocker stuff that works for HULU and other sites. It is a pretty amazing time we live in to be able to live globally but still get access to the stuff back home. The big problem is just having enough time to consume all the media that is out there ha ha…I really don’t know how Scott does it all. Would love for him to do a breakdown of his daily schedule…I don’t think the man sleeps ;)

wow did not realise! i new that Michael Shanks was also on an episode of Macguyver

    Who?

    (watches video)

Oh yah – the dude with the rubber prosthetic stamp on his forehead. :-)

  13. JaFO

So that big black dude is Teal’c ? I never would have guessed that one.

I think I’ve seen some of the actors from Star Trek-series in other tv-shows as well, altough they’re more difficult to recognise without their make-up.
