He is in a car. I suspect that maybe can be a sequel to Death Rally.

  2. Kevin

Death Rally was a great game, but I don’t think a sequel would be succesfull these days. And for DNF, I hope it won’t be released anytime soon, it’s the perfect exemple for vaporware.

  3. Morr

I think this was confirmed to be an action figure

  4. Fums

It sure doesn’t look like a game’s graphics.

  5. Wayne from the States

YAWN! I was none too impressed with the first. Plus there are more than enough good FPS titles out there. Another game in a market growing dangerously oversaturated wouldn’t cause a lot of hype unless they did something really impressive with the graphics, story line, and/or in game concepts.

    Duke3d was awesome

had jet pack, holoduke, shrink ray and arrange of totally awesome gear

HOOKERS! could pee, could see urself in the mirror

    awesome game for its time

multiplayer was brilliant. Death Rally would be a cool remake awesome. that was another sweet game. ….might have to go find a copy of it and give it another bash

  7. The Reverend

    I have a question.

Will we have to play the game at that size or will it support higher resolutions?

[I think this was confirmed to be an action figure]

Maybe it´s a photo of an action figure and the “In game” capture is the game they are playing in the screen of the background :D

  9. Greth

Guess again guys: It’s been confirmed, it’s a real screen:

Not only was it confirmed, but that is actually 1 frame out of a video that was something like 1 minute long.

3D Realms are seeking a programmer that has experience on Unreal Engine and the Game was confirmed for X360 and PC.

  11. ackblom12

It was also confirmed for launch 8 or 9 years ago… and then sometime before 2000… and so on and so on.

  12. Anonymous

he didnt confirm that its for DNF

  13. kitzkar

Did hell freeze over while I was asleep?

  14. Dan

F the haters, I have been waiting for this game for far too long. I cannot freaking wait.

  15. Velt Cardio

dan if i were you i wouldnt wait standing for that game…

  16. Dellen

As for the size of the “screenshot”: Maybe it’s being released for mobile phones.

  17. Shinn

The game will just not deliver. It’s been in “development” for a some odd 10 years? Can they keep with the times and make a good game? I’ll be impressed if it comes out in our lifetime.

  18. Velt Cardio

if you go to the 3d realm website to the duke nukem forever you will read:

” And yes, we know the game has taken a long time. There’s no possible joke you could make about the game’s development time that we haven’t already heard. :)

  19. D

I’ve been wanting to play this game since it was first announced, must admit I’m not too fussed over the way it looks now if that screenshot is anything to go by. I’d much rather play the version that was shown in E3 2001.

But still, I’ll wait and hope… and wait, and wait…

  20. Mike

Lol didn’t they say last March that they finished the game and all that was left was to polish it. If they release it, we won’t be able to say “its going to be released the same time Duke Nukem Forever does”.

  21. Greth

I don’t care how it looks and how good a game it will be… I physically need this game…
Duke has been my mentor and taught me my first words of English (Your face, your ass, what’s the difference?).
Duke nukem manhattan did not suffice, I need another fps !!!
    *wheeze wheeze*
I can’t take another year of endless waiting!!
    *runs off into the distance*

  22. PurrNaK

I won’t be standing in line for this game any time soon. Even if it came out tomorrow.

Too much hype and not enough bite.

  23. PurrNaK

Besides, Anyone that would have played the game when it first came out is nearing their 30′s now and have used their money on an mmorpg :)

  24. I Ludicrous

“Anyone that would have played the game when it first came out is nearing their 30’s now”

Not unless time flows backwards, PurrNak. My first experience with Duke was in the network labs at Intel (it proved to be the perfect way to demonstrate that 3Com’s network drivers suffered more packet loss than Intel’s at that time), and I was well over 40 by then.

  25. Doctorsoul

It must have been a screenshot of an ingame movie for ‘balls of steel’ II

“Anyone that would have played the game when it first came out is nearing their 30’s now”

Actually, I’m only 23. I’d be very happy if this game ever get’s released. I need another Duke FPS damnit.

  27. Mike

I’m 18, soon 19. I remember the old days when I had some crappy 200mhz computer with 32 megs of ram and 2 gigs of HD. There was a store close from where I lived they had monthly CDs for 5$ with like 30 game demos on them which most only 3 worked lol and I remember playing Duke Nukem “3D”. Damn it was awesome.

  28. Murphy

Just thought I should let you all know that this has been CONFIRMED AS INGAME on the 3dRealms forums by the staff. :)
