Awwwwww Man I wanted in on this group :(

I’m listening to your podcast because I was happy to hear that O from Commsioned was on there. It’s just a shame you were such a jackass. I mean come on, you’re attempting to make Speedy Gonzales jokes, but forget his name or that it was set in Mexico not Columbia. It’s a shame you’re such a dick.

  3. Scott

Whoa! It was all in good fun dude, which Obsidian will tell you personally. He is a great sport, and a good friend…not to mention a great artist and talent in other areas. Did you really think the show was a setup for me to treat him badly?

Come down from your high horse a few notches and set a spell. You are inventing conflict where there is none.

  4. Pottsie

WOW!! Controversy after only one group show…ZOINKS…I can’t wait to get on there…Scott I’m a Cop and I expect nothing but Cop jokes….I’m from French origin also (My Mom is from France) so I expect some serious surrender jokes….Lighten up, it’s all in fun…but I did hear Speedy Gonzalez is pissed off Scott…He’s sending the Frito Bandito after you…

The Speedy Gonzales joke was lame, but the others came out pretty funny. Good thing O is such a easy-going person. I read Commissioned daily, but I never had a clue he was from Columbia. So, thanks for enlightening me, Scott. BTW, it was the first time I listened to the show. Kind of nice, I have to admit. I guess I’ll be checking the next ones as well.

  6. Bryan

Damn. A witty riposte to my attack. Now it seems that I am the dick. Alas.

Actually the tone did get better towards the end of the show, but damn dude you did everything but call him a beaner.

  7. Scott

Again, he was in on it. Do you understand that part? I could be wrong but it seems to me that for him to find it offensive, he has to be offended. It was all in good fun, and he knew it, and so did I.

What if he called himself a beaner? No longer a problem?

If you listen to the show, I made a reference to Speedy Conzales, incorrectly I might add, thus making it more of a joke about my memory than anything else, and later made jokes about the Colombian Soccer team, a reference to the Juan Valdez Video Game, etc. How is ANY of that coming close to calling him a beaner? You should work in a 1 hour photo, where you can blow things up to much larger than their original size, but this time for money. :)

Seriously, I don’t feel any hard feelings about this. I just think you are taking it too far, which I guess is your right, but none of the parties involved have any problems with any of it, most notibly the one you think has been wronged…Obsidian himself. Why create something more?

  8. koji

Well, O certainly didn’t _sound_ offended. Let’s just drop the topic, cause I guess that there really isn’t any problem. And BTW, cause it wasn’t clear enough for me – are the next podcasts going to have the same guests (co-hosts), or are you planing on rotating them?

  9. Scott

Same guys…sometimes new guys will sit in, but its our basic group. Thursday night we are having a WebComics special…should be fun. Obsidian will be key in that conversation.
