I watched the first 30 seconds and I WANT to watch this.
This is a show that almost requires you to have a certain kind of humor for… Personally, the crazier it gets the more I like it. It’s great for people who don’t care for plot and have add.

I watched this back when O first mentioned it, and it was… just too weird.

It was on cartoon network two years ago I think, and yes it is completely random.

And for those of you that recognize the art style, it is part of the shonen jump manga, which includes Dragonball. I must say that hearing it in english makes me cringe a bit.

aww come on bobobo is freaking fantastic. It’s more of a show that takes the piss out of itself though. And if you watch a lot of anime, the parodies make more sense.

I like the manga better, and the anime in Japanese with subs. Really great stuff, and it really does just get sillier.
We’ve had this in the UK for months now… S’ok, but gets tiring after a while. None of the Japanese cultural references work, so they just replace it with totally random nonsense… Funny, but not always done as well as it could be.
That said, getting to hear Ghost in the Shell’s Batou with a southern accent and over-the-top “heroic” voice is always funny.
I only love this show because it’s terrible. (And because there is a character named Pickles…)
I don’t know what those people were on as they thought of this… But I want it!
This shite show has been on that network for a while now.
Cartoon networks epic plunge of failure into the deep dumpsters of bad cartoons is only getting worse.

This will seriously turn you off anime for good scott… You should watch something serious instead of a mental crazy stupid show like bobobo. Like Death Note. Or Full Metal Alchemist. I’m sure Gene would agree with me in that.
Avoid Bobobo and see if O will let you watch a good anime, like Planetes.
