Get the Tivo set, or if you’re still sporting a mullet and shell suit get your VHS player on the go, as this Fall seems to be bringing us a large variety of new TV shows spanning across a number of networks.
Reading through the list, a few shows like Heroes, Smith and The Nine look as though they may be entertaining. As for the rest of them? Well, lets just say it doesn’t look all to promising. Does it? What are you all looking forward to in the coming months?
Surely you mean get your MythTV set up ready :p Tivo without the subscriptions and DRM. It’s definately my next nerdy project to undertake when I have the free funds.

Definitly Heroes. I am also looking forward to Shark. It looks pretty interesting.
I saw the pilot for ‘Jericho’, and was hooked. Can’t wait for that one.
I also saw the ‘Shark’ pilot. It’s okay, but is trying a little too hard to be the ‘House’ of lawyer shows.
Heroes definitely! Although I question whether it will live up to the name “Heroes” or if it’s just going to be a bunch of people with powers. Because it takes more than a super power to be a hero.
Also, the latest ad for Justice makes it seem interesting (prolly because they compared it to CSI and I LOVE CSI!). Aside from that, fortunately most of my old shows made it back for another year.
Hey, anyone have an opinion on Blade: The Series on Spike TV? I went to the forum for the show and they are already sending in letters to the network not to cancel it, but I didn’t think it was anywhere near that state already. Thoughts?
I’m looking forward to Heroes and Jericho sounds interesting. I will have to set my DVR to make sure I don’t miss either of them.
TheGremlin: I watched the first 5 episodes of Blade: The Series and thought it was an enjoyable show. Sure the acting wasn’t always top notch, but it was fun to watch. My schedule has kept me from watching the rest of the shows (even my DVR started deleting them before I could get to them!). I’m sure they will run some repeats sometime soon, make sure to check it out if you can.
I agree with the others, Heroes looks pretty good. Knowing me, I won’t be diligent enough in watching it, though, and I’ll miss half the episodes and lose interest. I never have been very good with watching Primetime shows.
Yes Heroes is looking good too. I’m enjoying Blade, but I doubt it will last. The production values and effects on it are pretty well done.
