best. ever.
Hahahah That’s fantastic, I can just imagine the writer reading it the first time and going * sunglasses on * lets do this!
That was my thought. I want to see the letter to the editor that prompted this correction.
XD verry funny
big difference. one of them is a very short hairy man with no shoes on, the other is a very short hairy man with shoes on.
I LOVE that it was in the sports section. “Nerds and Jocks Unite!”
At least someone is keeping this Newspaper truthful. If only corrections weren’t burried in the paper and ran 5 days after the original story.
I work at a newspaper and just wrote a correction that the song “Lollipop” was written and performed in 1958 by the Chordettes — not, as we’d reported, by Lil Wayne.
Its a whole new world when our sports players rival our own geekyness.
Seeing this article just made my day lol
Lol, thanks for sharing.. this actually helps in supporting my theory that geek is starting to get cool.
Geeky stuff is catching on, and that was a priceless correction.
I imagine the original letter was a bit longer than that article though. It’s afterall a very aspergers thing to be bothered enough to write a newspaper about.
All told, “Glamdring” would’ve been a better choice. “Foe Hammer” is much more appropriate for a baseball bat, don’t you think?
Well said Brian. Out of the 2, I would have went with Glamdring, the FoeHammer
