    whats wrong with drinking pee?

  2. StarmanKevDX

I worked at a mental hospital (can’t say where) in which we had a patient who drank his own piss. He did it so often (hard to stop a person who REALLY wants to drink their own piss) that he was secreting it out his pores.

  4. Izaak

piss all the way to the bottom!

DO WE EVEN HAVE A MACHINE OR ARE WE JUST PEEING IN THIS CONTAINER!

  9. Scott Johnson's Bladder Infection

This is the future! Although I don’t think we should drink our own piss. Urine is a waste product of our body, why would we want to put it back in? Even if it is “recycled” it’s still gross.

He better be payed… A LOT!!!

Let’s solve desalination and power generation at the same time! Take brackish water and use it to run a solar-heated power turbine. Take the resulting steam, and condense it back into drinking water. TA-DAAA!

“Do we even have a machine?! Did someone just piss in this bottle?!” After the whole 1-billion dollar space pen thing, this does not surprise me.

  13. idogis1

I mean, I’m all for nasa, but is it really necessary to pay someone to test the drinkability if it is still yellow?

    @Scott Johnson’s Bladder Infection

you know most of the tap water are “recycled” water right?

  15. Matt

The water you drink in some cities (London, I think) has been through around five different people when you drink it!

  16. Emanon73

You do realize that all the water on the planet has been “recycled” ???
For a long ass time too. LOL

  17. Dave P

Yes, NASA has this type of machine, it’s been around a while. Many communities use it around the world to recycle their water. LA & Orange County, I’m looking at you. But this is, obviously, satire. It’s hysterical, but not realistic.

oh, this was ingeniously funny. good stuff!

Beats that tree Kevin Costner peed on right?

That’s just so fake: you can see the green screen artifacts. Hilarious, though…and probably true. I mean, really? How much actual, pure water could you possibly extract from human urine and sweat? Not enough, I’d wager.
