The “character walking into the door until it opens” gag is the best. Proves that the writers actually knew their subject matter. I’ll buy a Coke just to say ‘thank you.’
Not sure why so many gamers think it’s an enjoyable commercial. The message is people aren’t paying attention to the world around them, so have a coke and talk to your neighbor. Just look at the mother who’s pushing her child on the swing, but playing on her phone or w/e. It’s a good message, though, because it’s true (at least the lack of spacial awareness).
Coca Cola is losing the “Classic” label on their logos. Mainly because they want to phase out the thoughts that there was ever a “New Coke”
I don’t even recall the taste of it, but I still like a cold Coke once in a while. Even though I’ve cut out pretty much every soda from my drinking habits.
This actually ended creeping me out. People get too into the internet and forget about reality. I didn’t appreciate the mom pushing her kid on the swing but not really giving a damn.
Sorry for being a Debbie Downer, the ad just hit me in the wrong way Wall-E did the same to me too although I did enjoy the cuteness/comedy as well.
Just me though I can see how others would enjoy it. I was kinda hoping to see a guy turn into a hot chick though.
@Josh G No no. you got it all wrong! the message is ‘if you buy a coke you will meet cute girls that play video games’ ;D Shame she seems to play an orc though!
The overall vibe of this reminds me of how I met my (awesome) g/f: the Game Developers Club at my school had an Xbox LAN party, with a Wii off to the side. Since she isn’t the biggest Halo 2 fan, we made culinary abominations in Cooking Mama, played the Zombies!!! tabletop game, and the rest is history.
(And yes, I know how lucky I am to have a gamer g/f. She makes me happier than The Maw at an all-you-can-eat buffet.)

I don’t drink a lot of soda, but Coke is still my favorite.

All the hot orcs’ are actors.
I love Coke ads, they always feel really genuine to me.

I’ve seen it, but I still love it =D
@nargle- so is Scott. Your point? Both he and the video prove that there’s alot of old things that are still just as awesome
