Posted up the Linux Geek (you knew he was coming) and the final 20×30 poster inches closer to completion.
Many of you have been emailing me asking to pre-order the poster and I wanted to go ahead and get that happening right now. This will ensure early buyers priority shipping as soon as the poster is complete. I am going to try really hard to get the entire poster done in the next couple of weeks, so shipping will occur shortly thereafter.
US buyers will be happy to know they will get free shipping. For international orders, it’s just another $6.00 for shipping and handling costs. I have provided two payment buttons, one for US buyers, and one for international buyers.
For everyone else that would rather wait until the day the poster is done, that works too.
More updates coming!

Woah, that is expensive! 10$ less and I’d have maybe considered buying it, but damn, you can get Back to the Future posters that aren’t even in production anymore for half that.
He’s so cute! =D
Call me sentimental, but i think it’d be kinda cool if the music geek looked like ben. It’d be a nice tribute.
Well, I’ve been running Linux for freaking years, even back in the days before the compact disk was invented and you had to install the whole freaking thing from an endless series of floppy disks. Back then of you could get Xfree running with nothing more than a simple terminal application running you were considered a real hardcore geek.
Therefore the inclusion of the Linux geek means….
I MUST HAVE THIS AWESOME POSTER!!!!!!!!
And yes he is cute.
So is Tux.
I second MTigerV’s sentiments it would be a great thing if the music geek looked like ben…
and how about a World of warcraft geek that looked like Bruce or his character Milliway?
I have to say that seeing some women geeks would be nice. Or maybe a geek poster of just women geeks? That’s a lot of work.
Yeah, women are geeks too!
Oh god, I hate to say this… but linux isn’t about free, it’s about open source and power.
Heh. I’m evil.
And no, I’m not really a linux user. I’m too hooked on Windows and gaming.
I was just going to say, where are all the female geeks. I know there are some, I’m one…
Poker geek and I am all over it!
Best Geek yet Scott, nice shoes.
The Linux geek should have a long pony tail. Every Linux geek I have ever known has had one.
Peter: These are photo process prints, not the cheap paper prints you get with most posters. They just cost more, and unless I commit to 1000′s of them at a time, I can’t get rates that will make things cheaper.
However, I will be doing smaller versions of the print for a whole lot less.
Scott, I am still waiting for Halo geek! woop!
But I will still buy this for sure!
Needs a Cosplay Geek!
Now I just have to decide where to put it.
I personally think $40 is a great price for such an awesome poster. Already ordered and got a nice big empty white space on my wall for it to be putted (sentence structure questionable). I think it’ll go somewhere near my map of Azeroth…
….. I think I need help.
Question? Were you planning to change the sports geek to the half naked, body painted in team colors, rainbow wig with foam #1 hand?
thinking about it
Agree with Shadowen; the Linux geek needs a ponytail.
I consider myself a Linux geek, and I don’t have a ponytail.
Neither does Torvalds, and neither did Lilo.
It’s fine, Scott.
pre ordered
keep up the good work
The Linux geek kinda looks like Linux.
i might have to order 1 – my computer room is sorely in need of a makeover -
Do a porn geek
porn geek…what should he look like?
Yeah, I meant it looks like Linus. What an embarrassing typo!
“Free” lmao
Ooff, $33. That’s going to cut into my GuitarHero 3 fund.
I’m probably going to frame mine if I get one. Is there a chance you could do a cheaper quality print for those who want it? Maybe run it through cafe press?
After the exchange rate it’s getting expensive, just for the print. Now if it was already mounted I’d be happy to pay that price.
Very nice Scott !
