   Sorry, I just can’t get into anime, with the ridiculously-exaggerated emotes, the stupid stereotypes (always 5 characters: A small boy, a small-boy-sized animal of some kind, a skinny tall girl, a huge muscle-bound oaf, and a tall skinny “hero” with spiky hair. There’s frequently an old man who’s some sort of mentor as well.

   OBJECTION!!!!!!

   Now lets see the one of the most popular animes around is Naruto, an none of those stereotypes fit (except the spikey hair) BUT those stereotypes you just blabbed out do fit a lot of western cartoons and movies….
   so when you are tired of watching “fat husband skinny wife sitcoms” go watch a couple of animes or read a manga they are not all alike (that’s pwetty much like saying all American books and comics are the same) sounds like you the only thing you have watched is Dragonball…

   Anime is a wide term …

   Of course i know Scott would disagree with all of this
