I’ll believe it when I see it. How long did we wait for HL2, TF2? They kept giving dates, and promising it, and they kept breaking those promises. Though, I’m grateful they did come out. All their games area awesome!

And they set it in New Orleans (at least part of it) famous for it’s numerous and extensive graveyards…the wrong place to be during the zombie apocalypse. I would love to be able to play some 8 person co-op so you could get some Bill and Francis on the new game as well.

Manu seems to be the only one with an actual brain here. It’s too soon, and too similar to the original. Would have been better as a free DLC like they did with Survival Mode & virtually half of TF2 to date. Not paying 50/60 dollars for a sequel that adds nothing they couldn’t have put in the original.
The only time I have ever been ashamed of Valve.
I also think it’s a little early. Maybe I am not playing enough or something but I’m just not tired of the first one yet. I hope its more than a map pack, because that’s what it looks like to me. If they charge 30-40€ for it it’s fine, but I am not going to pay full price for a mappack.

IMO it’s to early for a sequel, but it doesn’t mean I wont play it
I thought it was odd that they can make a sequel to left 4 dead faster than they can make Half-life 2 episode 3. Wasn’t the idea behind episodic content that we wouldn’t have to wait as long as we would for a full sequel?
But it looks good, yet too soon to be worth full price, I might consider it when they do one of those 50% offs or something similar..
New characters? Hmmm….I’m going to miss the old guys. Kind of mixed feelings about that.

Sweet Zombie Jesus…we get melee weapons!!! Must have sequel. I’ve played (and continue to play) the same levels and am ready for newness. I would have been ready for a sequel after the first week. Ooh…time for a quick game.
I allready paid full price for the original game for the PC last year! Too soon and the same thing. Valve didnt even waited until they have a new engine code… I feel betrayed.
I’m wondering if this is more like L4D: Part 2 instead of L4D2.
It will most likely be just as boring and redundant as the first.
