Introducing, The AppSlappy Podcast, with me and Eric. (You probably know him as Skyhawk.) The show will make its home over at AppSlappy.com. The show joins the network of podcasts under the Frogpants Studios banner. (Like ELR, The Instance, Diary of a Cartoonist, etc.)
Been meaning to launch this for a while now, and finally kicked it of. If you are into the iPhone and iPod Touch, and LOVE the app store the way I do, then this show is for you. If you don’t care about any of those things, well then, I guess it’s not for you.
One episode under our belts so far, and even though I see refinements and formatting changes here and there, this is essentially the plan! So check it out!

Oh, so this was the Super Secret Project you were talking about in the forums for a little while.
I don’t have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, so this podcast won’t be too helpful for me. The half billions of other people who do, however, are sure to love this.
Love my itouch cant wait to listen at work
Gratz on the new project! Can’t wait, love my itouch
GOOOOOD MOVE!!!
Subscribing now…
Already downloaded, will be listening shortly. With WWDC next week and iPhone OS 3.0, I’m interested to see how that affects episodes in the immediate future.
If I listened I would probably just get frustrated at not having a machine that can run OSX. I have a PC, but it’s 8 years old. I’m getting a new one this summer, but until then, I can only dream. It’ll* happen someday!
*I want to develop apps for the iPhone
Don’t have an iPhone or iPod Touch but I really enjoy this show. Its a lot of fun. Now I know how people who listen to The Instance and don’t play WoW feel.
Very well done. Skyhawk is a natural; I’m surprised you haven’t had him on as a guest on ELR before!
Anyway, great idea and great execution, guys… well done!
Ok, ok, I gotta know. Did you get the name as a derivative of “slaphappy”? If so hilarious, and you are dirty dirty men.
Good first episode! Looking forward to this alot.
Any chance you might expand to other phones that include apps, such as Blackberry?
