(The movie was released in 1982, and the CG had to be done well before then.) I, for one, am quite happy that they chose *not* to "update" the look of the computer world in a way that was inconsistent with the original. Maybe it's cuz the only time I saw it was in the theater back when it first came out, and I was already working in the 'puter industry so it was beyond my suspension of disbelief.
