I think this trailer looks pretty fantastic. There’s an HD version up on gametrailers.com. I didn’t like the first Killzone, but this one looks to be much better.
It looks really good compared to what we’ve seen of it before. Also, guys the game is due out next year, polishing is allways the last thing done to a game. It will most likely look better when it is realesed. I know I’m gonna get it.
it looks good, but doesn’t really look like anything revolutionary gameplay wise. Standard FPS. Also, they guys on your team and the enemies look fairly similar. I had trouble seeing who’s who in that trailer.
I am glad to see a small amount of actual gameplay this time compared to the all rendered BS of before. Maybe it’s me but these “heavy scripted” FPS games (Killzone 2, Gears of War, etc) do nothing for me. Give me something like Farcry, System Shock, FEAR, Bioshock, etc… where it is scripted but a MAJORITY of the game is open for the player to choose how to proceed in missions and such.
Shaymus22: Unless I’m mistaken the first Killzone had cover fire as well.. You know.. before Gears. Don’t get me wrong, Gears is a good game; but you might want to not nit pick.. I mean, does anyone say “Oh my god, this game has openable doors.. Just like wolfenstein.. Rip off!” No. Some features just work into a natural progression of certain types of games and Gun Jamming and cover seem to be two of them..
Cool FPS. Not sure how it will stand out though.
What, is this one prerendered too? Not according to them, I’d bet.
Also, man does that thing look a lot like Gears of war
-Jamming your weapon and hitting it in the SAME WAY as GoW
-Shooting from cover JUST LIKE GoW

Definitely not pre-rendered this time…I have seen 360 games that look better.

looks fanstastico. but looks kinda like kerberos panzer cops movies and comics from japan, way back in the day.

The Graphics were crap imho.. If all that power in that black piece of poo can’t do better then that then what am i paying $500-600 for?
