That was awesome, and I enjoyed that very much.

  2. Joonas

    Saw it on TBT, awesome.
    “I have two fingers…”

  3. wolfgang

“Is this the real world” HAHAHAHA

  4. DivineChaos

”Is this… Is this gonna be… gonna be forever?”

    I lol’d, nice find :)

  5. Bearbutt

I’m concerned that the parent kept saying “Did it feel good? Do you feel good?” And was enjoying it far too much.
    .
I’d just be driving home asap to get him laying down.

  6. Samantha Jane

    Poor kid.

Reacts better than I do though … if I get laughing gas I threaten to jump out of windows … SJ has control issues >.<

  7. Dave_nab

    Haha poor kid.

  8. Falcon

    That’s terrible…and friggin HIGHlarious.

  9. Zu

I’m horrified. They removed a front tooth but that’s a procedure that doesn’t require anesthethic. Is that how dentists work in America? That’s iresponsible and should be outright banned!

  10. Chuck

That is freaking hysterical. My 3-1/2 year old boy just had a procedure done last month, and was given the “goofy juice” to essentially make him drunk/stoned before they wheeled him away from us. He was saying some of the funniest stuff when he was sitting there. I asked him to count and he would get stuck on an number and keep repeating it… asked him his name and he would say it, slurred, then laugh in that drunken/exhausted way that we’ve pretty much all been at one point in our lives. Was priceless and adorable at the same time.

  11. Bruce

Nice enabler dad there, “you feel good?”. Ah, future drunken frat boy in the making ;)

  12. Scott

“They removed a front tooth but that’s a procedure that doesn’t require anesthethic.” Are you kidding me? Of course it does! Do they just pull them out raw and wild where you live?

Maybe you just mean, they should not need to use happy gas.

  13. greyjasper

The father who made this probably also enjoys feeding beer to his dog. What an idiot. How about put the camera down and take care of your kid.

  14. Jotunheim

If they drill a front tooth, it does not require anesthethic. Pulling it out however, does.

  15. RaXha

“They removed a front tooth but that’s a procedure that doesn’t require anesthethic.”

i hope you just mean they should only use local anesthetic, because pulling out a front tooth without using any kind of anesthetic is just plain crasy, especially if you’re a kid, that kid would never go to the dentist again! :P

  16. Lifeisaglitch

    Youtube legend in the making.

  17. WarlockJA

Kids are afraid of the dentist. Anything besides cleaning and drilling pretty much requires that they be anesthetized or stoned to some degree. Kids fight back when they are scared, oh and they bite too.

  18. Punkrawk Bbob

I have no kids so I probably have no right to talk – But personally I don’t think that having fun with your kid is such a bad thing. It’s different if he got him high on something to get this effect – But if your kid is a bit goofy on a one-time dose of meds I don’t see a harm in laughing at it with friends.

Posting it on the net is kind of shotty though.

  19. Punkrawk Bbob

Oh, btw, I absolutely died laughing when he let loose his absolutely random scream. I would kill to see some of my friends do that when they get drunk.

  20. Mike

haha a friend of mine showed me that last night. I went to the dentist quite often in my life and that never happened to me.

@greyjasper: I don’t see how he’s an idiot. It looks more like it was his brother taping it because it’s more likely that the father is driving the damn car. He’s just a little high, it’s not like he’s going to grab something and start slitting people’s throats or try to kill himself. He’s simply asking questions about what’s happening to him and it just happens to be funny. It’s not any better than parents filming their children doing funny things.

  21. JoyfulAnn

@ Mike: I don’t think it was the brother taping, it probably was the dad. If you look out the windows you can see the car is not moving, so no the dad is not driving. My guess is that they’re sitting in the car waiting for paperwork or payment to finish up inside, I can’t think of any other reason why they wouldn’t be driving home with that kid to put him to bed.

  22. Blackwood

Freakin funny! :) That kid really act grown up somehow under drugs.

  23. George McBain

“I had the camera because he was so nervous before, I wanted him to see before and after.” – Sounds like a good plan that probably made the kid less nervous, it’s just that hilarity ensued, so it’s a plus.

  24. NeuroMan42

That was awesome… I have 2 fingers too.

  25. Brian Duff

I.. .I have four eyes… Is this Real life?

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

    I feel funny… lol… That’s just hilarious.

  26. Eric

Sedatives seriously #@%! me up. When I had my seizure, they kept pumping me with them, and I kept getting worse. While I don’t remember anything from that incident, I do remember that the other two times they were supposed to “relax” me without knocking me out at the doc’s and the dentist’s, I ended up waking up the next morning at home (and with blood pouring out of my mouth after the dentist’s).

  27. PolyTicks22

I sometimes wonder what I would do or say if I was on whatever that kid had, lol.

  28. TheBlunderbuss

    Saw it on wimp.com
Love ya Scott. You’re a good man.

  29. Zu

Scott: Yeah local anesthethic at best but kid teeth come out very easily. It’s a sharp fast pain and then it’s over.

This is what’s wrong with the world today. If a kid can’t stand a 5 second pain how is he going to deal with pain in life? At one point in our lives we all deal with physical pain.

  30. Scott

I can’t do the happy gas thing…I am WAAAAY to sensitive to those kinds of drugs.

  31. Tj

This is sad and should be taken down.

  32. Scott

    Sad? How?

  33. Brian Whittle

In the UK now Dentists have to use an Anaesthetist to do it if they won’t to put someone under so most stuff gets done on a Local. Healthy people die sometimes with a general, so why take the risk ?

  34. Damiri

Well, we don’t know the extenuating circumstances. Not all baby teeth just pop out like normal, sometimes there are complications (like fusion to the jaw) and the dentist decided it was best to perform surgery. The dentist tried to make the kid as comfortable as possible. I don’t think the public has enough information to judge the situation medically; and ethically there is nothing wrong with taking a vid to show the kid later and help him understand what was going on. It reminds me of my mom encouraging me to watch the needle go in when I had to have shots as a kid. Because of that, I have never been afraid of needles, which are a fact of life. Maybe this kid will be less afraid to go the dentist in his life. :)
