I’ll have to whip out my tradepaper back again… I think we can see the Comedian being the Kennedy assassin in that trailer, i dont remember that in the graphic novel, even in narrative… If so, pretty cool that they would expand a little like that, as long as it’s not too often and doesnt take screen time away from… well, a boatload of stuff, that story is freaking huuuuuuge!
The movie may be great, but the casting for Nixon is horrendous… and Spock’s ears were far better than that nose. Ugh!
other than it being in Japanese… great trailer. new glimpses of bits and pieces only make me want more. i’m not sure about the Comedian/Kennedy thing… could be too much, could be just right. dunno. i’m still a bit put off about the changing of the end. i’ll have to hold my opinion until i’ve seen it, of course, but it’s a huge risk to mess with it like that. i mean… the WHOLE story is about the end. if that falls off… then i’m afraid for the rest.
but… with that being said… it seems as if they are doing it justice. it’s looking very good. can’t wait for it to come out.
As a comic geek this movie is gonna be great. I just think it isnt gonna make alot of money. The main stream doesnt know what watchman are all about. They better start advertising ALOT.
