…yep! unavailable outside the U.s.a. Looks great from the preview of the site. Just for fun, i searched Canada in there, found one about canada… thought naively it would play since it`s about us… no dice! Oh well, that`s why we pay huge sums to have access to some good channels.

Uh no. it does not work on your apple tv, scott. In fact “non-computer devices” are explicitly banned from using the software in the TOS. And this adds a whole new stink of BS to their excuse about why they started blocking boxee.
It rocks. I watched about 90% of my shows on Hulu over the last year.
I’ll let you know how it works with the Streamzap Remote in a day or two.
I don’t know why Hulu is hating on the Apple TV. I would LOVE to get this installed on my ATV.
But for those folks using it on a Mac, you can use this plug-in (http://www.geojohn.net/2009/05/frulu-hulu-plugin-for-front-row/) to incorporate Hulu Dekstop app into Front Row. Works Great!

Sorry, this is a kick in the sack to the open source people who had Hulu working on everything. Getting this is more insulting then if they didn’t develop anything at all.

I can confirm that this does not work outside the United States as I got a message that simply said “Our video library is not available to anyone outside the United States”.
I have heard that there are talks to make Hulu available to the UK in return for UK content from some of our main channels (ITV1, Channel 4 etc) to be made available on the hulu network.
Don’t be blaming Hulu for the crap about outside the US unavailability. Blame the people of the networks and MPAA, etc. who would cut off their nose to spite their face. ‘Oh noes if they play it on an outside device they might be able to record it… and if they record it we can’t make out eleventy billion dollars!!!11!!!1!’

We have Hulu in Canada. But it’s spelled The Pirate Bay. And it’s pronounced totally different too.
