  6. Felix

    This is beyond awesome!

  7. OnyxSparrow

*clapz* Simply awesome… the very diffinition of Random Geekness.

  8. Bearbutt

Can’t watch these at work, so me=sad.

  9. Math Person

    lawlz…nice

  10. Lifeisaglitch

In “Reality” the Millenium Falcon would have been enough to match the Enterprise(D?)…A Stardestroyer would have blown its to pieces…LOOooved the ending though.

  11. idogis1

Now I would like to see what The Apprentice would have done to them.

  12. BrianD

Awesome nerd battle.. Star Trek pwning Star Wars… but then you bring in The Force and Vader gets you. It’s almost like what SHOULD have happened if The Force Unleashed were the power being shown off in the movies.

  13. MacGuinness

Loved it! /nerdon BUT, in Star Wars they don’t technically use “lasers,” they use “blasters.” So, maybe the Enterprise wouldn’t necessarily shrugged off their attack so easily. And all due respect to Star Trek, but I don’t think two photo torpedoes would do that much damage to a ship ten times their size, deflector shields or not. /nerdoff

  14. Jaramide

Hehe, “Reality” thats a good one :D
If you mean the tech specs that are printed in those nerdcore books then yes but seriously who buys that crap?

  15. Tennessee Taylor

In actually points of fictional scince fact:
-MacGuinness has a very good point on which I will elaborate. Federation and indeed most weaponry in Star Trek is photon-based, that is it deals in lasers and other high-energy weapons. Star Wars is more realistic, the weapons technology there is based on protons, electrons and plasma. The result of this is that the standard weapons of a star destroyer would desimate even the most powerful shields of a Trek craft while the latters weapons would be unable to penetrate the energy shields of the former.
-Star Wars and the ships and beings of its galaxy, being more awesome by a factor of aproximately 9.4862×10^8 (a spike from recent figures owing to the fact that Mando’a, the language of the Mandalorians, has recently been started on the road to a full-fledged language and it sounds about 700 times cooler on top of Mandalorian culture trumping virtually any culture in science fiction history), would induce blindness and possibly death in Trekverse beings from overexposure to high-radiation bomb-diggitasticallity.

Here endeth the rant, I surrender the soap box to anyone who wants to argue with me.

  16. ActualOvaltine

Regardless of the science, I loved the ending. Take that Captain Smug of the U.S.S Owned

  17. lugnutdaffodil

Greatest. Video. Ever. Oh my gosh!

  18. Gary

That was Brilliant! I loved it!

Phasers aren’t lasers. They emit a beam of fictional subatomic particles. Even photon torpedoes have practically nothing to do with photons/light. They are anti-matter weapons (1.5kg matter and 1.5kg antimatter), with a yield of a “64.4 megaton nuclear explosion.”

The star destroyer uses laser cannons and turbolasers, not blasters… which is odd, because if you read about blasters (focused subatomic particles… small enough to be focused through a crystal, at least), they seem more capable to penetrate shields than lasers.

All I did was look on wikipedia.

  20. Mark

Now if we could somehow make the video game. I can see it now…Star Trek Wars

  21. Bearbutt

As a fan of both universes, but mostly Trek, that was a genuine lolfest for me!! Woohoo!!
    .
There were episodes where simple lasers were used. The first to come to mind was the one where the aliens had lines such as “We need your computer things”. Most TNG here was from the 4th or 5th season (I think) with some 2nd thrown in.

  22. Cantonkid

I can haz the video game?

  23. Bully

Who would win a battle could be argued indefinitely.
But lets face it, Picard is just so much more cooler then the breathing mask :D

Great and fun editing though. loved it.

  24. Shaymus22

That is amazing! A great way to wake up before EN101-14 (English for you non-college types)

  25. Rob Dalton

The lasers bit came from The Outrageous Okona. I won’t get into it much, but in fact, that one single episode is used (by certain hardcore Trekkies) as evidence in the versus debate for Trek ships being immune to Wars weaponry. There’s a whole internet subculture built up around the versus debate – just google it to see.

  26. The Gr8 Mizuti

Pretty cool! Only problem besides the weaponry is that their galaxies away from each other, Star Wars is in the time of “a long, long time ago”, and Star Trek is in the future.
I wonder why they chose Picard over Kirk.

  27. mentosboy

starwars dont use blasters on ships they are called Turbo lasers well so there is my little bit of geekdom thrown in there. so the shield would have held…

  28. tiki dog

SW is best, ST is best… who cares. I like the fact they used some Patrick Stewart dialogue from Extras. Best Extras episode ever!

…and by then I’ve seen everything.

  29. Eric

I had to watch this a second time, but that time, I was being slathered with warm, coconut-scented massaging oil by scantily-clad women dressed as Jabba’s slave mistresses but with green skin and black hair while touching myself.
    8O
Or that’s how it sorta seemed when I was watching it the second time.

  30. ElvisKungFu

    hahahaha, hilarious!

  31. Trebblebase

help me, i cant stop smiling!

  32. JELLYBALLS

Ha, I don’t really like either SW or ST. But I have seen plenty of SW.

  33. Sithinious

    Totally Nerdgasmic.

I’m forwarding this to all my friends. Actually, I’ll forward this to everyone I’ve ever emailed. :) ~
