I had forgotten how campy that show was, and how intentionally bad the acting was.
But, man, that was a long commercial. Did that air as part of an episode, like Subway on Chuck, only less subtle (if that’s possible)? Because I have trouble accepting Carol Channing showing up in the baracks while they’re planning to blow up a bridge or something.
I suppose that today’s equivelent show would be named “My Mother the Carbomb.” I’ll never understand what makes comedy funny, having no sense of humor myself.
All I know is that I like Jell-O. And Bill Cosby with the puddin’ pops.
Wow, at times that felt more like a parody of a commercial than a real commercial. I have to wonder how the actor’s felt about having to do that shameless pandering to a sponsor.
I’ve always gotten a chuckle out of the fact that not oly was Lebeaux a Jewish survivor of the Holocoust but Klink and Shultz were Jewish as well. In life there is no better revenge then to outlive those who would see you dead and then make them look the fool forever after

So Mr. Wesleyon,
You can accept the whole idea of a tunnel under the bunk, that the POW can come and go at will but don’t choose to escape. The Germans speak English with a fake German accent, the POW camps are fun places where good food and good times are had every single day.
lol. Thats awesome!
Whip Cream on Jello I SEE NOTHING I SEE NOTHING!
If I saw that commercial for real on tv, I’d go out and buy all the jello in the world.
All that fresh fruit taste… Mmmm…
I can’t watch Hogan in the same way after seeing the movie “Auto Focus”

But it did make me want some jello……
Was that actually part of the show?
By the way, as an Austrain living in Switzerland, I can officially say that these are the WORST accents I have ever heard. b(~_~)d
aaaa the memories… I loved this show and I watched it religiously LOL as a kid.
Thanks for posting!
It’s time to have TV shows of today start this again.

But Carol Channing is where you draw the line?
