Wow. Just, wow. This movie is really really great, and works on many movie levels: Action, thought provoking story, great acting, and popcorn fun. If this is what we can expect from Mavel Studios moving forward, we are all in for some special films. Absolutely a must see if you are on the fence for some dumb reason. In the end, this movie is in Batman Begins territory as far as my favorite comic book movies go. Makes me wish these same people worked on the last Spiderman. Simply wonderful.
In the theater, just played two Tetris DS matches where I simply dominated.
I am the one with the horrible additional neck rolls I am not used to seeing. That guy next to me? Mark, the other guy, from ELR back in the day for long time listeners. Behind is is the ever faithful, Scott Dewar.
Collin, a dude who’s name I forget, Daniel (a regular reader), me (with the flash sensitive grey happening on the sides), and Mark, hangin’ in the lobby, yo.

I brought the kids and a couple of their cousins. Fun!

If you missed the credits at the end head over to youtube and type in “Iron man after credits” and you should find some videos. The problem is that Youtube keeps disableing them so you might have to check off and on until you find one.

Marvel Entertainment held its shareholder webcast this morning where they announced some pretty interesting information regarding their upcoming slate. Included is confirmation that IRON MAN 2 is on the fast track for an April 30, 2010 release (summer officially begins in April now!) and THE AVENGERS in July, 2011. Also on the release schedule are THOR (June 4, 2010) and THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA (May 6, 2011).
And for those who didn’t stay through the credits, you can find footage of it by doing a quick search in google.
F***!!!! I left during the credits (the wife was NOT feeling well and she has to be @ work @ 5:30am). GREAT movie. Want to see it again in a real theater (not at the drive-in, where we saw tonight).
