Honestly speaking, he wont win the contest, but… meh dudes… at the end of the day he did enjoy himself a lot.. so who cares? i cant dance, i have 2 left feet sort of speaking, but the best advice someone did give me ever when it comes to dance is :
“Dance as if nobody is watching”
After that, dance was fun again for me… thw woz did it in national tv.. and he didnt care, and did enjoy himself a lot… we were pwned by an indirect hit ?
My wife has yet to discover this show, and I plan to keep it that way, as best I can. Otherwise, I will end up watching all of them from season 1 onward, and that is a hell noone should have to face.
Here in the UK we have that program aswell but its called “Strictly Come Dancing”. The two judges Bruno and Len both appear as judges and apparantly they commute between London and hollywood each week to do both shows at the same time!. Although in strictly there are 4 judges instead of three, the two different judges are: Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood. Craig Revel Horwood is pretty much the Simon Cowell of the dancing world!
The UK version had a contestant John Sargent a respected political journalist who was so bad the general public voted for him ever week to save him. It became more and more likley that he was going to win that he had to quit the show in the end. So there is hope for the Woz.
I can’t help but think he is sleeping with his dancer and that is why he is so cheerful despite the poor scoring. She even said “he was the nicest man in the world and gives 100% during rehearsal.” lol.
I know he won’t last long, because during rehearsals for the upcoming week, he fractured his left foot. He’s now wearing a removable cast on it and plans on performing through the injury.
Side-note: Steve-O, who is also on the show, has a pinched nerve in his back due to practicing, and is going to be performing through it as well.
He’s dancing with a hot hot woman and he’s worth more than that whole room combined. Good for him for having the balls to do that in front of millions of viewers and a ballroom full of people. Who of us can say that we would even be willing to do that?
I say good for Steve’s effort and if he’s truly having as much fun as he appears to be, that’s one thing I’m sure he can cross off his “bucket list”. And if the geek movement has any say, he’s going to get a ton of votes for effort alone. No one likes to be called a “tele-tubby in a gay pride parade” nor should they.
He is having a blast, and I love it. lets face it, none of us nerds can dance, lol, its genetic. But he is giving it a great go and you can see on his face the whole time that he is loving it. Lol
wait...the new Futurama episodes are on Comedy Central? I thought they were back on fox for some reason. Not that it matters.06:20:32 AM March 19, 2010from Tweetie
Part of me wants to say “Good for him! Go for it!” But part of me is weeping.
he won’t last long… but hey… he gets to dance/hang out with a major hottie dancer and have a lot of fun doing it. why they heck not?
He looks like he’s having a lot of fun…however I’m now scarred for life by watching it…that pink feather boa, was a bit, uhm, over the top?

go Woz! w00t!
I love the drug reference. Totally through them off.
Atleast he is healthier then his veggie friend Steve jobs…
@Bart not necessarily, he’s gained a fair amount of weight there >.>
And apparently I know nothing about dancing, because I thought he did pretty good =/
Yikes, that was awful. Props to him, though, for having fun and hanging out with a stunning dance partner! :-@

There goes the bravest nerd I’ve ever seen
I thought he danced well, at least he did better than most predicted he would.
Dustinirons – that might be the best quote i’ve seen in a while!

I’m loving this! Woz looks to have lost a lot of weight and he’s having fun!
Good on him! He dances really well to boot.
If he makes it through this week, everyone in the geek community should rise up and vote to keep him in.

@Tyler: Having a bit of weight doesn’t mean your unhealty.

He certainly takes negative criticism very well.

Who cares about the fat guy, I want to see the version of that dress that doesn’t have the tassles!
Ahahahaha, sorry but I was laughing the entire time,
.
An amazing engineer he may be, but a dancer he’s not. Still, he’s probably better than me,
.
I love him so much. Wizard of Woz!!!
Awesome, gets my vote. If only this show aired here.
He needs to be able to dance using his segway, I’m sure it would be more graceful.

Dance…differently
