It looks like a fun movie, not a blockbuster, but maybe Will needed an in-between movie like this. I’d see it, but really – I’ll look for it in the dollar movie.
Im not too sure, mixed feelings.. as soon as they queued the hiphop track it felt a bit cheesy.
For the first few seconds of the trailer I was thinking WTF? But I after watching the whole thing, I think this movie will be hysterical.

Since I thought it was going to be about the famous signature maker, I was pleasantly surprised. Looks good.
This movie will be great, although I read they cut a lot of stuff from the original script which has a more dark R rated tone, and uses the theory of “superman sex lois” which states that if superman would have sex with lois, his sperm would kill her, in the original script they had Hancock have sex with women and his sperm would make holes in them, Im not kidding…I wish theyd stick to the original R rated instead of a dumbed down PG13…

I remember reading up about this back when they were calling it “tonight he comes” which i thought was a much more epic sounding name *also a little pervy* they said the main plot was how he was trying to steal his publicists girlfriend which they didn’t really hint at with the trailer “even though it is a teaser”. Guess we’ll just have to see how it ends up

I wish Will Smith was my friend, I Am Legend scored a full 10 points higher in my book just because Will Smith was in it. He seems like a really cool guy.

Could play as a one note deal. Bad attitude, messed up super hero who wants to clean up his act.
1/3 third of movie he is messed up (and his adventures)
1/3 of movie is showing him learning to clean his act up and the comedic misadventures that ensue while he does this and has sociol interaction with the woman he is trying to date and reveals insights into his behavior and self discovery
1/3 when he ‘Gets It’ and goes for broke to win / save the girl.
Thats my take on how it will go down.
I’ll wait for peoples overall reviews and go see it a few weeks after it comes out.

Blair’s got it right on the money. Great premise, but feels totally predictable. That being said, I’ll still go see it just to see a “superhero” flying with a 40 in hand.
Yup im predicting last half hour of the movie is going to be fail to (Hoping for a Super Villain to be in it)
Thanks for the trailer Scott, had no idea about this one, and after seeing the trailer it looks promising, more than anything, it proves that Will Smith is an amazing actor.
