This just kills me. Make sure you listen to the call. Best quote? “Customer service is not a reason to call 911. 911 is if you’re dying. Do you understand that?” Priceless.

Only in…
It’s amazing how often this actually happens.
Wow. That must have been in a very very small, quiet town somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Where I live, the call would have been terminated in 3 seconds to clear the line. This call went on for over 5 minutes!
Yeah, the 911 operators must have been bored that day.
That was ridiculous. His french accent made it difficult to understand – but this guy is going to snap. If he gets that upset about his lemonade and he calls 911… This guy is a freakin kook.
Oh – and I loved it!
hehehe, well, you guys should hear some of the calls recorded at my job, some people are plain idiots/crazy… (i work at tech support for a large computer company), i talk to like 5 of these a day… But then again the calls i get are more like: “what do you mean this laptop that i just backed over with my car is not covered by warranty”
It an african accent not necessarily a french accent. but thats no never mind. but thats ourageous.
lol i drive by that place everyday, that’s hilarious.
He shouldn’t complain, in Denmark Burger King dosen’t even have Lemonade – ever!
Yes this type of thing happens a lot more than most people would think. What’s worse is when people call while in a drive thru line about something that occured hours earlier. Biggest problem for things like this is public education. It sounds like a scape goat but these days people remember 911 before anything else. Even things like 411 for a phone number!
For the kind of idiocy displayed the call operator shows extraordinary amounds of patience and restraint handling that guy.
Ok, if this the quality of the 911 calls that are recorded for 911 emergency calls, they are in crap quality. A normal phonecall are not even close to this quality.
I work on an ambulance. This happens all the time. We get calls to help people find the remote for the TV, to clean their carpets, because their cars won’t start, they don’t have money for a cab and want to get downtown.
I’m glad he was fined for 911 abuse. I wish my city did that.
Wow, I heard about this on the radio the other day. I thought it was some kind of fancy restaurant it happened in….. (I was waking up to the news, so only half paying attention
)
