I bought an Alienware system a few years back. Quite over-priced. Get what you pay for? Then why did I have to re-install Windows to connect to the internet. I remember these things.

Quite overrated.

My last system came from ibuypower per my specifications. I don’t recommend them either. The videocard brand they chose has a tendency to overheat (I sent back the first one, but the problems continued with the replacement and I just gave up), I had to open my case and re-connect the power-supply to the CD-Drive when I bought it, and the problems have continued from there.

My advice is always to do-it-yourself. If you don’t know how, learn. You’re just going to end up sending it back in anyway. Might as well learn how to perform the maintenance yourself.

If i had the money to throw around Id do it… Its like owning a ferrari, okay we know there hawt, fast and cost a lot but they dont offer anything better to a law dominated society with speed limits.

I built my own computer for about 750$ canadian and put it together with a friend. If i customed it on Alienware.com it would cost 1150.98 US$ taking in mind their’s a slight difference in graphics card.

Only place I know you can spend more on a computer then a car and not get your money’s worth.

Still, if I won the lottery, I’d buy 5 of em.
