TNG was by far the best series over all – but Season 1 and 2 were weak – and that was one of the worst eps of the entire series. Effects and Story combined – TNG hit its stride in S3\4 much like lots of other ST series
I can think of at least a dozen better moments and scenes over that one
“What you gave me the wrong change?!?! WRAAAAAAAAA!!!!” “What a parking ticket?!?! WRAAAAAA!!!!!!!” “I ordered PEPPERONI not MUSHROOM?!?! WRAAAAAAA!!!!!!”
That scene needed 100% more Ben Sisko…or maybe Samuel L. Jackson. I have had it with these (insert expeltive relating to mothers here) shapeshifters on this (insert expeltive relating to mothers here) ship.
That clip highlighted the worst moments of each craftsman’s career, from the actors to the director to the the editors to the stunt coordinators. An absolute perfect storm of suck. May there never be such an assemblage again.

I actually enjoyed that episode. Wesley wasn’t completely annoying.
The best? enh…not so much.
I have always liked the duel between Worf and Duras.

hmm, the best startrek moment for me is the DS9 episode “Trials and Tribble” (i think that’s what the episode is called)
when the gang are going to order a drink when the TOS game comes in and they start talking about the klingons and they see that they look human.
“Worf…?”
“…yes… they are klingons”
“What happened”
*worf shrugs*
“it’s a long story… we’d rather not talk about it…”
so good moment
That was very original series.
