one question i have is, how can you not know how to play the drums or the piano, but be able to put something like this together….still pretty cool…
He didn’t say he didn’t have musical skill at all. he simply recorded all the bits he wanted. He has a killer sense of rythm and music, but he can’t actually play all of this out on either instrument.
Unfreakinbelievable! That is some serious talent, but obviously a brilliant mind for music!

oh, b.t.w. this is 2007, the internet is all about plagerism, and copying, so as far as I’m concerned there is no need to point it out. The truly originals will allways stand out though…

Plagerism? Did this video even use anything Michel Gondry has done? The exact material?
I don’t thik so. But he probably used the same techniques of editing the video to make it.
This isn’t his only video like this. There’s the one where he’s doing a Bebox vocal mix just like this. It’s the evolution of sampling at it’s most entertaining. Now if this guy could do the “Wang Chung Tonight” video. That’d be funny too.
I have to agree with the Yahoo Serious resemblance. Kinda funny to even have that memory come up. “Young Einstein” was a funny movie when I was younger.
Every audiovisual recording has some kind of post-production applied to it, does that make them ALL “plagiarists”?

Just watched the Michael Gondry one, and there’s one serious difference – Gondry can play, he’s just looping sections rather than building them from scratch…
Didn’t the White Stripes do a video like that? Has he therefore plagiarised them?
