    Poor O :(

Okay, right off the bat, I’ll say that I really liked Avatar. It was masterfully done and showed a great leap for filmmaking.

That said, It was not perfect. The story was really cliched and totally predictable. Come on, it’s Disney’s Pocahontas in space. And I really didn’t like whenever they show the cliches of a big bad military that ignores the sensible scientists suggestions because their views interfere with “the mission.” It just doesn’t seem believable and it’s something that happens way too often.

Still, I did like it. It was a brilliant take on the typical “person sees how the other side lives, becomes turncoat, fights for good.”

    Blows for O!

But why are women so cool when getting mugged?

My wife and her exboyfriend got hold up in Guatemale on the beach by a guy with a big ass knife.
He was shocked when he saw how much money these turist had on them so he suggested that they got some of the money back and then they woundn’t report him?

My wife instantly started negotiating with the guy about how much money they should have back, and the poor guy ended with giving them more than HALF THE MONEY back!!!!

Needless to say, my wife went right to the police…

    Newer trust a woman.

First movie ever for me that’s an 11/10. Blew me away like no other movie ever has, loved the story, the characters, the acting, the exceptionally realized world of Pandora, the bad guy. Just everything was as good as can be in a movie.

Not since Jurassic Park have I felt as excited by a movie as I did by Avatar.

Oh man, I’ve just finished listening the podcast and noticing the Tweet for the birth of Randy’s kid !
Excellent timing that kid had (meaning that Randy only needs to buy presents once a year)

Xmas spirit is in full now.

Ahhh, your country, O, remembers me of homeland Romania! The police back here is either corrupt, either lazy. Well, only that in your country you get mugged by vigilantes with dirt-bikes and fire-arms, not like back homeland, were you get mugged by scarred gypsies with pepper sprays (usually, back here, they avoid face-to-face, because they really suck. Last time when some tried, they really failed big time).

Oh, and that’s a reminder to me to wear body-armor and to get a nice pistol, just in case of… anything. (I forgot to mention that back homeland, you just might run into either a mad gunman or a wannabe mafia boss, either of which just MIGHT end your life… accidentally, of course!)

Dude, why carry a bunch of cash around with you? If someone steals your credit card you just cancel it and dispute the charges made by the crooks.

A couple years ago my debit card number was somehow stolen (still had the card) and the crook bought $700+ worth of stuff at a sporting goods store without my ID. I called my bank as soon as it happened and after a couple weeks they returned the money to me after an investigation.

I’m still sorry that it happened to O, that stinks.
