Warners and Campbell chose Reynolds, who vied for the superhero role along with “The Hangover” star Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. The momentum built for Reynolds in the last week, as he was the only actor whose option was extended.

I dunno, we’ll have to see if Reynolds can pull of a decent Hal Jordan. Since they’ve spent a few years making the character in the comics really good.

I will always have Nathan Fillion as my pick for Hal Jordan. The fan-made trailer was perfect casting. Oh well, I just wonder if they’ll get the go-ahead and finally make a Justice League film after everything is supposed to be made.
@Ransom: Probably not the best example, I mean, I’ve literally NEVER heard anything good about Catwoman, and I really didn’t like Storm’s character much in any of the X-men movies (though I’ll have to admit that Storm likely was poorly written to begin with)

I’m a little torn on this. I like Ryan for certain types of roles, but I’m not sure Hal is one of them. But they could have made much, much worse choices, so I guess I’ll give him a chance and see how he does.

hrm…. He’s a good actor, so I’d think he’ll do a good job.

One thought – Amazing. Bradley Cooper is too serious, and Jared Leto can’t act his way out of a paper bag. Even as popular as he is, Ryan Reynolds is still underrated.
