“Finish” as in, got the main 60 stars to finish the initial story? Or “finish” as in got “all” of them?
Finish as it the 60 for the story here.
I still remember getting all 120 on Super Mario 64 and as much as I loved Galaxy I wasn’t in the mood for another huge star grind.
I’ll finish. I had to pull myself away so I could get on and finish my thesis. Now that’s almost done, I’ll be getting back to SMG.
I beat Mario 99 % and Luigi about 70% *once you beat Luigi’s file all the way Mario gets one more star unlocked)
That’s about it, and i should finish the fight
I have the last star as mario to get, but I’ve not really been playing my Wii too much recently. *Curses devil may cry 4 and GTA IV*
I have no plans to play it at this time. There’s no Wii visible in my future. But maybe someday.
I beat both Mario and Luigi versions of the game, oh yes
How about a, “I have played it with my buddy, but I don’t have a Wii and plan on finishing it with him once his quarter is done” option?
I finished the game – the ending was the typical open-ended warm-happy-feeling-nobody-died ending…

Beat it with Mario (saved the princess) AND got all the stars including the one from that cursed purple coin luigi level. I’ll probably never go back to finish with Luigi, though. What’s done is done. WiiFit has my attention at the moment.

Finished it completely. It was niiiiiice.
Ok so I admit I pirated it and then I played it for 10 minutes and I was totally disappointed. Thats why I bought an xbox 360 I love games on there!
I really enjoyed SMG and played it like crazy up until Christmas. However, as i got more and more games i stopped playing it and now i’m stuck at trying to complete all the purple comets!
Not only did I finish it with Mario, but i got all the stars with Mario and then got all the stars with Luigi too!
Only got 40 with Luigi, does that count?
finally got it back from my ex so i’m ready to start playing again, I’m shocked at the number of people who say they’ll never play it… heathens…
I finished as Mario, but haven’t yet played through as Luigi. After I finished this, I went back to the Virtual Console and started playing original SMB and SMB3 again.
Ah, memories….
i only clicked ‘will never play’ as it is very unlikely that i’ll ever be able to afford a wii… sucks trying to play games *and* pay for food!
Played it for about an hour but it never managed to hook me. I think it’s a fair platformer but it’s not really all that great.
All 241 stars.
I rented it from GameFly and got pretty far along (I think I got to the Toy Time galaxy), but I had to send it back when my subscription ran out. In a couple years I’ll buy it and play it over again.
(By the way, I was kind of disappointed too. I was expecting something that lived up to the rave reviews it was getting. Close, but no cigar.)
SMG? Sarah Michelle Gellar has a game on the Wii? What’s the objective? To destroy one of the best TV shows ever(Buffy) in favor of a lackluster movie career? No, I’m not bitter…

That all depends, do mean finish as in beat the game or finish as in collect all the stars and unlock Luigi?
I’ve gotten 120 with mario and around 40 with luigi haven’t gone back in for a couple of months dunno if i ever will.

I wish they would make a new Rock N Roll Racing, because it has the greatest ingame commentary ever!!!
