[...] I started school on Tuesday of this week, and so have been so busy that even when Scott Johnson from ExtraLife raised my status to Contributor to the site, I only had time to post one article. SO busy, that besides the fact that I couldn’t stay up late enough to watch ELR by their video chat, I still (as of when I’m writing this) haven’t had a chance to listen to the whole show! I’m about halfway through! [...]

As a person who grew to love sci-fi in the 80's because of watching shows of the True Battlestar Galactica with my father, older brother and mother, I for one hope this show dies in it's 3rd season. It does not stay true to the spirit of the original.

I have seen the mini-series and 1st season of Pornstar Ripoffica. It is sick and stupid. If having baby's necks snapped, sex scenes, showing the worst of humanity, whores, gang rapes, etc is good Sci-Fi, then I am glad the last Sci-Fi I enjoyed was Firefly, which also only lasted a season like the Real Battlestar.

Anyone calling me a Fanboy, imagine they reimagined Firefly to be a lawfirm in space. All serious.

***spoiler about the past episodes****
A robot giving birth to a human-robot hybrid is beyond stupid, soap opera plot. You never know, maybe a blow-up doll will give birth someday to plastic man.
****

Give me a cool action packed adventure sci-fi like Firefly and the True Battlestar Galactica anyday over stupid Blade Runner wannabe series with its Philosophical artsy fartsy nonsense anyday, alone with its Terminator borrowed plot excluding time-travel. At least I know that sci-fi shows that run for 1 season are now probably the best sci-fi to watch.

Just hope it's not Adama or Starbuck. They can kill everyone else, I don't care.
