Hope everyone had a safe and fun new years eve! The family and I (and the dog) wish eveyone a happy 2009!
What were some of your favorite things from 2008? For me, the limited list goes like this:
Gadgets: My wacom cintiq and iPhone 3G
Computers: My Doghouse Systems PC. (Enjoying PC gaming again) And my Mac Pro.
Video games: Wrath of the Lich King and Left 4 Dead. So much fun.
Events: Nerdtacular 2008

Unreal ELR moment: Getting to interview Todd McFarlaine (And winning a podcast award)
Unreal Instance moment: Having Curt Schilling on as a regular. (And winning a podcast award)
Movies: Dark Knight and Wall-E.
TV: Burn Notice and Dexter and Flight of the Concords.
That’s all I can think of. There was a LOT of stuff happening in 2008. I gotta think you guys have a few of your own to list. So list away.

Video games: I didn’t play a lot (I was too busy making them) but I am enjoying Call of Duty: World at War for the 360
Movies: Frost Nixon (plus I agree with yours, Scott)
TV: I would say Battlestar Galactica but I’m not sure if they had any episodes last year.
Comics: ExtraLife, xkcd, Commissioned, Penny Arcade, and I would say VGCats but I’m not sure if he drew any comics last year.

Gadgets: None this year, which is notable! Probably Hulu.com which I learned about from this Website!
Computers: My new XPS Dell. Student discount and super sale, saved like $800.
Video games: World in Conflict, GTA IV comes to the PC, Mass Effect comes to the PC
Events: Began work on my Master’s degrees in February…

Movies: Prince Caspian (yeah I know, but I still liked it), Iron Man, Dark Knight was a nice change for the series…
TV: Burn Notice, My Own Worst Enemy (too bad they canceled it!), and I even kind of like the Legend of the Seeker, probably because I haven’t read the books yet. Hulu.
My favorite ELR moment: Brian shares his ‘most scariest horror movie’ Jurassic Park .
