Why are they there?
Creepy but cool.
At least their not moving, a la Trainspotting. THAT would cause some freakin’ nightmares.
He, he, Scott, I actually live on a street next to this tower, so i see it everytime i go out. The babies aren’t creepy, but the tower is. One of the ugliest buildings in the city.

ScottyD: Yeah, it’s the tallest structure and it’s standing on a hill. I always know my way home, because I can see it from everywhere in the city.
My dreams will be haunted by those babies.

Yeah I’ve been up that tower a couple of times, once before the babies were on it. I don’t remember the details but it’s some permanent art project by a local artist.

Honestly I’m surprised you even played any of the previous Silent Hill games, Scott. I remember you once said you couldn’t play them without the lights on, or something to that effect. I’m not saying I’m any better, but that still surprises me that you would even slightly feel compelled to play Silent Hill.
Used to visit Prague several times a year while I lived in Leipzig. Awesome city! I remember noticing the ‘babies’ from afar. Now I know what they look like up close!
And downtown Prague at night all lit up is like walking in a real life fairy tale. Highly recommended!

I´ve been to prague a few times, but never have I seen this beauty of an installation.
They remind me of the faceless dogs in Halflife1 – the ones shooting ultrasonic waves at you. These toddlers could very well be starring in a video of Tool imo.
That building is more ugly than creepy. Seriously, it looks like it belongs in like… Metropolis or something. Not the Czech Republic of all places. It sticks out like a soar thumb that’s suffering from Gangreen, tear that sucker down.
I was there 2 years ago. It’s in this strange region of Prague. You see houses and apartment buildings and then out of nowhere that thing appears.
The babies are much bigger than you would imagine.
Cool though.
Got to agree with some of the previous posters, the building is really ugly, the “babies” actually make it better. Cool as an art piece, ugly as a piece of architecture.
The tower itself stands out in the village like an eyesore, then you add those creepy faces-kicked in babies and it is the stuff of nightmares!

Hi, we have artdeco apartments located near this tower in Prague (Zizkov district).
