This looks so amazing it hurts.
dont get me wrong i love HL1 and i will probably by the remake it looks completely awesome but are they really running out of ideas on the HL series couldn’t they bring out an opp4 sequel or some new content instead of rehashing out the old game

This is actually a fan-made remake. Valve has nothing to do with this as far as I know.

@phantomscm Also should be free. I’m almost positive that it’s not being resold. Valve has given the remake their support but I don’t think they’re cool with selling it.
I still play CS Source – well I would if I still had a PC – Anyway although there are 1st person shooters that have more dynamics to them, CS Source is just a fun shoot em up game and I wish I could get my mac to play it in non-boot camp mode.
I am amazed at how much this game HL2 just continues to improve.
I’ve been waiting so long for this game! Every time I think they’re never gonna finish it they put a new release date on it and show another trailer that gets be back on the bandwagon. Fingers crossed it’s almost ready, looks AMAZING!
If I still had my right thumb, it would be up right now, damn wheat thresher!
Awesome … sure, but that’s how any ‘classic’ game would look in “next-gen” graphics.
I can’t help but feel sad to see all these resources being wasted on a mere remake however.
Are even “amateurs” afraid of trying something new these days ?
Looks excellent. The fact that “that” is fan made makes it all the more exciting. Half-Life 1 remake in 09′ and possibly more news from Valve about a Half-life 3?

I wonder if it’s going to include any of the expansions as well. Don’t get me wrong, it looks frickin sweet but the expansions had some pretty cool ideas behind them too. Either way I’m stoked.
