i think it will be about some goverment thing, you know like how they extract the adam and eve stuff out of the main char of bs1 and use it in some isolated place… maybe something in the now-time or future? it will be too hard for them to get a rapture2, same isolated city with all that scientific breakthroughs.. won’t be plausible..
so i think there will be no direct connection between the stories of the bioshocks, except for the plasmids, maybe scientific stuff taken out of the survivors… but surely no big daddies and all that stuff… OR they just make a cheezy version of rapture somewhere else.. like if some1 copycatted ryans idea somewhere else hidden… but that wouldnt be that cool i’d say..
i think this teaser is like the dungeon keeper 3 teaser in dk2…. signing that they wanna do a sequel and had no big idea or didnt want to give it away…
@DAVE_NAB: dude u can just buy bioshock1 and patch it, removes the drm and all that crapstuff with the “only 5 installs” and shite… or you just grab the pirated version where they left the drm out of the install…but that would be not nice,….
I’m always really hesitant about getting excited for teasers because they’re usually so early in the production cycle that most of what’s in the teaser doesn’t actually get used; however, I still really enjoyed it and the very slight “hum” of the Big Daddy at the end gave me chills. Can’t wait!

Here’s how it works: You release game full of DRM. I spend my hard-earned cash on something else. You go out of business, I shrug and still spend my hard-earned cash on something else.
So Bioshock and Spore are on my “that’s too much money for something I can’t really own” list. I’ll play the free live DVD full of Linux games, or World of Warcraft, or my old Xcom series. DRM (which is more accurately called Technology Users’ Rights Denial Systems, or TURDS) is a sales-prevention device, and it’s working.
I love this game, the whole thing was great to play from start to finish. Saw rumors about the sequel in my game informer a couple of months back but it said that the sequel was going to be made by a different developer. Everyone on the new team was huge fans of the original and it was supposed to have support by the heads of the original team. I’m just hoping that regardless of how they do the story, prequel, sequel. whatever they decide, that they can give it the time and care it deserves and not rush out another generic clump of waste for a holiday season.
Prequel is just speculation for now? From the teaser I thought that it kind of implyed that you might be playing as one of the little sisters you rescued in the first game if you were good. But hey, a prequel sounds good to me too
I for one welcome our Bioshock 2 overlords…
And I for one is still waiting for a DRM free version of the the game

I liked Bioshock too…but was this trailer really “awesome” or just a punch of piles of sand?
