    marko, you are an idiot.
My rugby team travelled to new zealand and we had this done to us many times. if you mock it one bit, they will make sure the game is a living hell for you. We were taught a version of the haka from another team and we were given permission to use it back in our country. Every game we did it to the other teams and most of the time we were mocked. However we won every game, won cities and won provincial championships. I remember a team that was quite obvious in mocking us. We scored 10 seconds into the game, which we then won 66-5. The haka is very important to maori and new zealand culture, and mocking it would be very immature

I’m mocking the fact that they’re dancing to intimidate me. It has nothing to do with culture.

Sorry if my sense of humor offends you. Oh wait, I’m not sorry. :)

its about respect, which , clearly you have none

“That only made me laugh. If I was the other team, I would counteract this weirdness by laughing intensely while pointing the whole time.
My team would be crying laughing, and slapping the ground.”

Ps. if you did this, you and your team would be in a hospital, comparing broken bones and cleat marks on your faces

Always cool to see a Haka performed.

Racist. The haka is one of the most recognised parts of maori culture. So yes, one would think it does have something to do with culture.

LOL if the team in black lost!

    Horde vs Alliance. Horde wins.

Bored to tears… and if this was horde verus alliance, where is the part that the horde waits until you’ve engaged NPCs and even then needs 3 to 1 to win?

Is worth a look, from the World Cup in Australia, Tonga vs New Zealand in Brisbane. All of the Pacific Islands – Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and New Zealand – have their own war dance they do before games, so when those teams are playing each other it’s a great way to start the match.

As someone whose team (Australia) plays the All Blacks on a regular basis, I don’t think anyone mocks, laughs at or otherwise denigrates the Haka. It’s a great part of the experience, really helps you get into the mood for the game as a spectator. Different teams respond to it in different ways – IIRC the Italians turned their backs on it at the last World Cup, in France, and got thrashed for their trouble, and we used to come out in tracksuits, face up to the haka, and then jog off to ditch the tracksuits. A number of Aussie and Saffa players have said that they like it, too.
